Purchasing Items With Courier

When you buy things from the shop with a monkey near the well, the item does not go to the monkey and makes things a little pain. Will this be changed to be like how DotA the item goes straight to the monkey not the storage.

Found the similar kind of problem, I just solved it by selecting my monkey before purchasing anything.

What I hope so see is the same kind of functions as the DotA courier has now

1. So when u buy it automatically goes to the courier
2. A deliver and return to well/tarpit function

Im a huge fan of the courier but its a bit annoying at the moment so deliver stuff to yourself

Step 1. Hotkey your courier.
Step 2. Press hotkey for courier.
Step 3. Press B and shop.
Step 4. Right click item, click on hero (make courier bring you item)
Step 5. Hold shift, right click fountain.

Make sure you guide your monkey through save territory or it will end up dead and if you are really unlucky the item(s) he carried are with the enemy.

Ive been having hte same trouble as OP with the courier, ive learned to select my courier first before opening up shop, its annoying but now its habit for me.

One wierd thing is if you take item off your courier, and you double tap f1 to center screen on your hero, then drop the item onto him, nothing happens. The courier wont move, he will act like there was no command given. You have to make sure your dont select your hero before you drop the item onto him.

Overall i think the courier needs to be looked at and tweaked, its just seems very cumbersome to use.

This is annoying, but if you have a hotkey for the courier, it's pretty easy to select him again without moving the screen from your hero.

Absolutely, there's no problem with the courier. This is just (very) basic micro.

Yeah, it's really lame when you start buying and they go into your stash instead of the courier, and then you have to fiddle around to get the stash and courier on your inventory screens so you can move your items and get them to you in lane.
