Wearing a GM tag is a responsibility. Once they see you, they start focussing you. That gets them killed ---> thus making them bad.
I've had games with GMs. Even though they get focused, game chat is extremely mannered.

Yeh. I queued up once and I had 3 GMs on my team. The only GM on their team was ThePank. We won. And then I queued up against ThePank again. He took his vengeance.
