    Double Crits

I know they didn't work in DotA.
    Do they work in HoN?

What the hell is a double crit? Elaborate, please.

they did work in dota, sort of.

if you had 2 crits, lets say a riftshard and a flayer.

you have flayer with a 20% chance to crit.

then riftshard has a 10% chance.

means you will crit 28% of the time, as flayer takes precidence and will override riftshard's crit.

basically, no double crits, and 2 crits will stack diminishingly

Lego is correct. It should be functioning the same way in HoN

When critting in HoN it will choose the highest modifier if you happen to crit with both.

DotA, I believe, uses the last crit item that you got, should you double crit.

i always thought flayer simply took precidence over riftshard. in dota i mean. buriza took precidence over crtistick

im pretty sure crits have a priority based on their bonus. juggs crit overrides riftshard. Pa's crit overrode all others. maybe im wrong tho.

I'm pretty sure Glorify is right (latest acquired critical overrides other criticals)

Aha, and here is the info from the PlayDotA mechanics section

    Chance Stacking:

    • Critical Strike
    • Bash from MKB (ranged)
    • Damage Block

Will not work in the same attack, they are checked in reverse order of acquisition if they proc at the same time, so only the last acquired will work.

    Examples:

    1. You bought a Crystalis (10% 1.75 Crit), then you acquired a Buriza (20% 2.2Crit): You now have a 28% chance to crit from at least one of those items, and in the case both triggered (2% chance) you would only get the critical from Buriza since you picked it last.
    2. You have 3 MKBs on a ranged hero: you now have 72.5375% chance to bash the enemy at least once, but in the case 2 trigger at the same time or three trigger at the same time (4.2875%) you will only get one bash.
    3. You have a Vanguard and then get a Stout Shield (on a melee hero): Since you got the Stout Shield last you have a 60% chance to block 20 damage, a 28% chance to take 40 less damage and 12% chance to take normal damage.

No, highest crit rate will take effect in the chance of multiple crits procing.

I'm sorry? If we all come together and decide that pyro's ult does 2k damage instead of 450 does that make it true?

An S2 dev stated the priority is taken by the most beneficial crit(highest modifier).

People in this thread are mixing up HoN and Dota mechanics :|

I even split it up for you earlier, but I'll say it once again.

DotA - Last aquired crit chance will proc, IF BOTH PROC AT THE SAME TIME.

HoN - Highest crit modifier will proc, IF BOTH PROC AT THE SAME TIME.

guys... that's wrong... in dota, if u crit with both, both numbers will display above your head and you will hit them both at the same time.
IE: yurnero (x2 lets say) with crystalis (x1.8 for arguments sake) (neither are actually the real multiplier)
he hits 100 normally - then if u double crit you will deal 380. it will say 200 and 180 above your head simultaniously

Because its not a critical, its bonus damage. Shows up in red just like a crit.
