I'm not 100% sure on BOTH of these points, but I'll go ahead with them anyway.
1. His ultimate seems to drop off alot easier when heroes move into fog than it did in dota, sometimes if you even blinked at the wrong time it would still follow you.
2. His ultimate does not seem to be affected by attack speed? or by cleave? maelstrom etc? this is ridiculously weak compared to the DoTA version, making his ultimate no where near as powerful in team fights as it would when stacking attack speed and AoE items.
I'm not sure about cleave not working, but im 99% sure maelstrom cant proc while using his ultimate and that it ISNT prolonged with extra hits when increasing his attack speed. My theory is that his ultimate does not share the same mechanics as the DoTA version, and that increasing swiftblades attack speed will not enable him to "autoattack" in between swift slashes, thus causing no cleave and not allowing maelstrom to proc.
If I'm correct about the 2nd point then it really needs to be fixed, without healing ward, it makes him incredibly weak in team fights late game and basically reduces him to an autoattack hero with little mobility.
I remember reading a post somewhere that you CAN get extra swings in if you stack enough attack speed.
Thanks Vahn
the way the old ulti worked was jugg basically blinked around units and did a 150-250 dmg slash, then after a short time be blinked around again, do another slash.
so in between slashes he can do more hits. also, blinking didnt reset his attack cooldown, so even at lvl 1 ulti with low attack speed, you still get a bonus slash or 2.
ive played swiftblade and when i tried it it worked fine. i might be wrong about this though.
I have seen swiftblade's level 3 ultimate hit a solo target only twice before they somehow ran into fog and escaped. It really doesn't make sense for swiftblade to lose sight of an enemy that he is hitting at melee range. It would be great if this could be fixed somehow.
Dota's omni definatly didnt add bonus's to the attack, because the skill was coded NOT to use his actual melle attack. The spell did 150-250 damage to the target and made the hero look like he was attacking.
And are you out of your mind, his ult is alrdy strong as hell, i dont need cleaves and crits and lightning bolts flying everywhere.
hush noob.
he attacked in between those 150-250 dmg slashes, so he does crit, cleave and whatever else you might want, just only on those attacks.
On topic: i used swift today as a test, and it looks like he DOES do extra hits.
if u still dont believe me ill go find the playdota thread about it for you.
In DOTA The more attack speed you had the more strikes you got from the ult
In dota it WAS coded so he acutally used his melee atk. so things like cleave lightning bolts and what have you would go off, also he ultimate did say that it atkd the target.
howerver in heroes it merly says he blinks doing a certain amount of dmg.
but you can still stack atkspeed.
the only thing they would need to change is to use his melee atk for the dmg and not a set amount
............ who does noone listen. ive said the correct scenario for juggs ult like 5 times, and people still post random things that arent even close to true
also a note: the tooltip doesnt say swiftblade is disarmed like he is in blade frenzy, so this would support that the extra slashes still work
thats a misconception.
the blinks that swift/jugg do doesnt reset his attack cooldown, so his attack speed can be slower then that and still do an extra slash or 2
He's allowed a maximum of 8 attacks in the process of level 3 omnislash. I think it was 300 AS for it to achieve 8 hits.
I think it balances out the way it is now. Have you tried using omnislash on a hero that has blink/leap? Surprisingly it followed... You'd think it wouldn't if it was the same as DotA.
Edit- I was right. Here is the chart.

yep, and even at no extra attack speed he gains an extra slash.
It actually isn't read like the way you think it is. It's not "extra/increase attack speed"
400 attack speed is the max attack speed you can have in warcraft not on top of base attack speed. Also every agility added 1(%) attack speed in DotA. So a juggernaut at level 16 using omnislash is already able to pull off 3 attacks without any items.

so with no items and bonus stats he pulls off 3 slashes...
then why would the chart say he can pull off only 2 if the attack speed is 40>?
Because if he has less IAS than needed he will only pull off 2?
Think.
You do not always have all of your IAS in a game.
It's like either one of these...
1. It's how the chart was made, with mathematics and not for DotA's Juggernaut exclusively.
2. There are always things that can slow your attack speed before you cast.
I'm not sure if it applies while you're casting though. ie. Attacking enchantress while omnislashing.
jugg is magic immune while he does his slashes (hes not invul tho). the only case where i see this happening is enchant.
Can you orders attacks in this ultimate ? Cuz one game i had he got all strikes at me there was creeps and heroes besides me when he started slashing.
