Question on controlling multiple units

So, i was wondering.
If you are controlling multiple units (for example you are tempest, and you have those summons)
If you use ulti, and then press tab and right click the enemy hero, will your channeling continue, or will it stop?

Cause when i was puppet, i did his skill that makes him attack closest unit on tempest, and tempest continued with ulti.

I think it will stop, but can anyone confirm this or something?

When you tab and press atttack, you are sending a command to all the units you are seleted, so yet you will make your hero attack.
