Competitive Gaming Network Australia is a new contender on the scene of Australian e-sports.
To kick things off we're proud to announce that S2 has generously sponsored a $700 opening HoN tournament. We're looking forward to watching all the carnage unfold as gamers fight for fame and glory, and covering the action we'll have netGameRadio along with us for the ride. If you want stamp your mark on the Oceanic HoN community this is the way to do it.
Details
Teamsize: 5v5
Tournament type: 32 team double elimination. First in best dressed ladies and gents. If you miss out don't fret. Sign up anyway because if we get another 32 interested teams we'll extend the number of entries to 64.
Map: Forest of Calvadar
Match mode: Best of 1 game
Open to: Oceania. This includes Australia, New Zealand. Counties located in South East Asia that are not part of Garena SEA are also elligable to enter
Dates: Team Registrations open June 7th and close June 27th. Round 1 will begin on July 5th.
Entry fee: FREE
Prizes:
1st place $255
2nd place $150
3rd place $100
4th place $60
There will also be three $45 Caster's choice awards. These will be announced upon the conclusion of the tournament, and will be awarded by the netGameRadio casters to teams of merit.

To other casting groups: If you want to cast games from this tournament please register accounts at our website and get in touch with Triumph of Man. We will need the names of your organisations and your casting crews to ensure you're allowed into matches as spectators. This will help avoid confusion and allow us to run things smoothly.

For those interested, CGNA is also running Scoutzknivez and GunGame competitions for CSS. If you're a dead eye gamer then you should check these out. First seasons commence on 4th of July so be quick to register.

An update, from advice recieved from S2 we can no longer accept any players from Garena SEA. Even if you are currently able to play on international servers the word is that once Garena activates you will no longer be able to play on international servers, and thus participation in this tournament would be difficult. My apologies to those affected.

If you're in Australia and you'd like to join a shoutcasting group netGameRadio is looking for casters.
Yeah... NGR is awesome! except their contact us page doesn't actually have any ways of contacting them, its impossible to register for the forum due to them not being able to send out a confirmation email, oh, and when you try to troubleshoot it, it say "get in contact with the forum administrator." How the hell are you supposed to do that if they don't list any way of contacting them? Lets pm them! OHWAIT I CAN'T LOG INTO THE *********** FORUMS

My teamates and me are from Hawaii, are we allowed to play in the Oceanic tournament? Hawaii is after all a part of Polynesia.

I was about to say no, bugger off this is an Oceanic/SEA tournament but on closer inspection Hawaii is actually considered to be part of Oceania.
Learn something new everyday I guess.
So this tournament is open to Oceania and Hawaii is part of Oceania. Nothing stopping you there, go for it.
