Way to get mods working that are not updated without a crap load of coding and work?

So I am on a Mac and the things I've seen to make mods useable just seem outragously lengthy and rediculous.. so if you could tell me a way I get be able to use these and not have to go through some crazy coding, ect. ect. process I would really appreciate it!

Health/Mana percents

It takes about 10 seconds/mod to open it up and change the version.

It's not difficult. I redid about 15 mods in about 15 minutes including time to figure out what was going on when 1.0 hit and all the 0.3 stuff decided it didn't like it. Took as long as it did because XML kept wanting to open in IE and WinRAR didn't seem to have an 'Open With' command to open them in Notepad++.

Courier how do I run your program in Mono being as I dont believe you can get .NET Framework on a mac. And I tried running it in mono --

The Method of starting hon and then ModMan also doesn't show the box saying that ModMan cannot tell the hon version, so it doesn't work either.
