How about a system where the host can decide how many locks is allowed on each side before creating the game?
This would make it easier for team players to decide if they want to join the game or not.
For instance the host decides there can be a maximum of 2 locks on legion and hellbourne then they woulden?t have to kick lets say 3-4 players that are together because it would prevent them from joining.
I would appericiate any input you would have on this idea

is interesting but 1 prob i see what about 3 duos join the game there would be 4 lock on one side or if the limit goes 3 there could be 5 locks on one side 3+2 (+2 on other side)
the max should look for the number of mates not locks per side and then it would get player controlled
to include your wish of an max it would be better to stick them together and set then a team max
my version for lock system (without the max controlled by host but why not a max of partymember)
the follow function should maybe include the stick together effect
