If you follow someone who is in a game and you are in the same game you will reconnect.
How to Replicate:
Go with a friend in a game and follow him then, now you will reconnect in the same game.

It's more or less a nitpick. But when you activate the follow command on a mate of yours and you are in the same game (may be you wanna afk for a bit?) you automatically disconnect from the game and try to join it again.
