True Skill Rating (TSR) mod v.4.4 (01/20/12)

the mod is up to date, and after mod options got implented to the game all my mods got removed from the mod menu and i really dunno how to get em back, i asked in the original topic but never got an answer.
im running with the dummie's btw.

You should open up your HoN Mod Manager and see if all the mods are still there. If so, update them and see if they show back up on your HoN menu.

If they don't show up there, I suggest redownloading them.
Also, make sure you have the latest HoN Mod Manager.

Also, if you open up your HoN Mod Manager and nothing is shown, you can go to File -> Open HoN Mod Folder and it'll open the folder where all your mods are.

From there you can go through the list and re-download the NEWER versions of them and delete the old. Drag the new ones into the HoN Mod Manager and apply them. This is an easy way to re-install all the mods you used to have, just in case you don't remember.

Sorry if I'm dumbing it down; I'm not sure what the issue is atm.

Very weird. I suggest making sure the mod is up to date. And then go to the TSR options and hit the "Reset" button.


Well: 1) you want to make sure at least one person is sitting in a slot, or else, it's going to get very very buggy. 2) you want to make sure everyone's TSR scores are loaded.

I haven't seen a crash yet. I say give it a shot in a no-stats mode. If it works; hurray and you can leave. If it doesn't work and you crash; no worries about the game starting since it's no stats.

If the problem persists, try re-downloading the mod and resetting its settings.
Also, delete your console log and then post if after making a game and having it crash once you press a button.

Just curious, what are your computer's specs?

Im running Windows Vista Home premium on Intel core quad CPU Q8200 @2.33 GHz, 32-bit.

Also where do i find this console log? I found out u could access the console by pressing ctrl+f8 after seeing Breaky do it on Honcast :S Thats how bad i am with computers altho compared to my parents, im NERDY KID Premier+++. They need me to install a printer for them -_-

Console is in My Documents -> HoN -> game:

Delete it first. Then open up HoN and recreate the crash. And then upload the new console file somewhere where I can read it.

But no need, i tried no stats mode, did TSR balance when 3 ppl were in, i crashed. Rejoined, and they made me host again. Waited till it was full, TSR balanced and it worked. Since im not going to play anything besides 5-5 i think problem solved. Is it mayb coz the number of players is uneven? Which ofc, should never be. No stats rocks :P. Its just 2 bad that after i tried this, and we were 44-56 in psr balance, and 50-50 TSR balance, 2 ppl on the other team decided to leave and we rmk. no stats ftw.

When I copy and paste the current formula...there isn't enough space to put the entire formula in. It runs out of space after the 20 near the end of the formula...

Are you using this mod or Rizel's Lobby stats?

If you downloaded this mod (TSR mod) then you don't need to do anything. Just install the mod and you're good to go. The mod will automatically write in "tsr" into the 1st Formula field which will be translated into the actual formula.

Seems to work decent for carries and support now, but Initiators really get the sharp end of this.

They don't egta lot of kills, don't farm well, don't place wards, any thoughts on how to get initiators better TSR?

Welcome to TSR ...
There really isn't any guaranteed way to show if someone is "support" wards? assists? Support are not the only ones todo this
Initiate? ADR?


This is one of the weaknesses of TSR and there really isn't anything that can be done to normalise over the main playstyles (carry,support, initiate...)
This is what happens when people put too much emphasis in TSR...

It should be used in conjunction with PSR and stats.
TSR gives a quick way of gauging the combination of all stats. if something looks odd check their stats

and naib, i know, i'm just throwing it out there if people have good ideas.

I like TSR and when you play in bracket games (1650+ / 1750+r etc) it's really a good indicator of skill

wards placed component to TSR is clamped at 3.5 per game.
a good support places WAY more than that

If I were to do that, I would have to overemphasize assists to give supports a fair chance.

Otherwise any player that plays supports is going to have an awful TSR.

The wards placed cap should help alleviate some inflation caused by ward spamming.

Yes. Moving the mouse over the area will initiate the request for statistics.

It is either that or requesting stats every X seconds which would be unnecessary load on the S2 servers.

There might be a way to auto-request stats as soon as someone joins, but I don't know it.

thats why i asked. sometimes i get the info without hovering over anybody.

i thougt, if it will sometimes show me the info without hovering over there shall be a way to get all info automatically.

would be cool if u could find a way.
and if u dont want to overload s2's severs u could make an button to load all (so ppl who alrdy go over all player cuz they need the tsr, or want it wont overload s2's server more with a button)

hey mate sorry for the late answer, but just thought i would reply.
i got everything to work now.
i just removed/deleted all addons i had in HoN,
then redownloaded all of them and now everything works as it should :P got the mods in the mod option and stuff.
