    [RANGED-STR] monopoly group part 1 - the Top Hat

    The Top Hat


    Speed: 305
    Range: 305
    Affiliation: Legion

    Primary Stat: STR


    Sound and Visual Design
    A Top Hat! The hero model would be a floating top hat. While idle, it could rotate slowly, but it would 'fly' straight. The attack animation would show the Hat tipping back, with bunnies flying out and exploding on the target. If you look into the Hat, you see no bunnies.

    Story
    Mr. Mysterioso was the greatest performing magician in his homeland, and he was widely known across some lands. Eventually, he became enfeebled with age and had to give it up, becoming a succesful businessman.
    The Hat he used during performances was lost in the transition, and has since re-appeared with its own motives, its own allegiances, and its own supply of bunnies.

    Role
    The Hat would be a support/tank with gank support and a unique buff with some ranged damage ability

    Stats
    Strength: 24 + 2.1
    Agility: 18 + 1.8
    Intilligence: 20 + 1.5

    Nothing in the Hat...

    The Hat gets better at suprising people with bunnies
    the Hat gains increased range and attack speed, and the bunnies get more potent.
    Descriptors: [passive]
    1. +50 attack range, 20 attack speed, bunnies damage in 25 radius

    2. +100 attack range, 35 attack speed, bunnies damage in 50 radius
    3. +150 attack range, 50 attack speed, bunnies damage in 75 radius
    4. +200 attack range, 65 attack speed, bunnies damage in 100 radius
    Balance: the attack speed amount needs balancing by professionals.
    Visual: no visual needed

    Now You See Me?

    People often think the Hat is actually being worn by an invisble person
    this adds a periodic evasion effect.
    Descriptors: [passive]
    1. 20% evasion, 4 sec CD
    2. 25% evasion, 3 sec CD
    3. 30% evasion, 2 sec CD
    4. 35% evasion, 1 sec CD
    Balance: the evasion must be higher than normal to offset the cd for the skill.

    Bunny Parade

    Because sometimes, bunnies are just a nuisance
    drops a large amount of real bunnies over an area, slowing all enemies in the area for a time. the slow only works when in the area, if you move out it goes off you. likewise if you enter it.

    22 second cooldown all levels, 100 / 115 / 130 / 145 mana.

    Descriptors: [targetted, aoe circle, 1 second channeling ]
    1. 400 aoe and range, 25% ms slow, 5 seconds
    2. 500 aoe and range, 35% ms slow, 6 seconds
    3. 600 aoe and range, 45% ms slow, 7 seconds
    4. 700 aoe and range, 55% ms slow, 8 seconds
    Balance: this is very slightly slower than jereziahs slow, with a bigger aoe, but you can just walk out. the CD prevents spamming during a chase unless its a long, long chase.
    Visual: a bunch of rabbits shoot of the Hat during the channeling, landing randomly in the circle. they then stand around or hop a bit, whatever it is bunnies do

    Ultimate:

    Add Panache

    The epitome of high class, the Hat can make anyone look good!
    The Hat jumps on an ally heroes head, making the hero instantly fashionable, and conferring buffs and effects:

    -The stylish hero now has half the evasion granted by 'Now You See Me?' with no cooldown (10%, 13%, 15%, 18% evasion)
    -the Hat can still attack, but without the benefit of 'Nothing in the Hat...'
    -if the hero gets hit with a single-target magic effect, the damage and effect goes to the hat, knocking it off in the process.
    -the Hat can get off at any time, by using the skill again for no mana.
    -the Hat has no movement control and cannot cast Bunny Parade while being worn

    range 500
    55 / 45 / 35 second cooldown,
    6 / 8 / 10 second duration
    160 / 195 / 230 mana cost
    Descriptors: [ press again to cancel ]

    Balance: high mana cost could make it hard to use on every cooldown, so youd not want to waste it.
    Visual: the Hat would fly onto the allies head, and rest there. when firing, it would tip back and fire as normal, but not fall off.

    Absolutely absurd and totally hilarious.

    The ability names and descriptions could use some work though.

    But now for gameplay analysis.
    As a ranged strength hero with a passive farming ability and evasion, this looks like its aiming to be a tanking carry
    Your first ability is overpowered as it is, there is no need for an extra IAS bonus at all really.
    Evasion with a cooldown is an interesting adaptation, but not really anything new. Your numbers here are rather well done actually.
    Your third ability makes a veritable pit of bunnies <3 Numbers look fine here too, but this ability has very little synergy with the rest of the hero.
    Your ultimate adds 18% evasion to a target hero, and removes your ability control where you go or cast spells. Sounds like something that hurts you more then helps certainly. I like the idea, but it needs more buffs/synergy.

    Overall, I would say this hero needs quite a bit of work before it becomes anything but an adaptation of previous ideas. You should work on creating a more innovative play style.

    Waow, for the hat to be worn by all heroes, well maybe that's already in S2s code otherwise its a huge task!

    Very funny idea for a hero though. I hope to see it in the future! :]

    Dont like alone for the monopoly theme. And I dont like the "look" of the spells either. It will ruin the game IMO and make a joke out of it.

    cuz giant rock monsters name pebbles and thunder apes are TOTALY serious.

    as for the hero.
    Theme: a hat...thats it?

    1st: STRONG passive. not very interesting.
    2nd: another passive? not very interesting.
    3rd: a slow, not very interesting.
    Ulti: not very usefull, or good. you just auto attack on top of a hero, wow.

    overall, not that good.
