I see very little utility in Glacius ult relative to how much utility I see in strengthening the rest of his abilities. I usually don't take ult until very late or very late mid game.

I might get one good Glacius ult off in a game, but if Glacius didn't even have an ult, he would still be god tier.
As random as it is Glacius' ult is good. I played CM in dota alot and I always got her ult at 6, despite it costing like 300 mana. The damage potential is there, and that alone outweighs an extra .5 second snare.

    Basically what rogerdodger said.

You can slow everyone from a distance with blast...
...if an AoE slow is the best excuse you can come up with then thats not good enough imo.

The damage potential isn't really there with anyone in the game with a shred of competence... with all the stuns you're not likely going to land a solid ult.

You can slow everyone around you in a massive AoE instantly as soon as you press R.

The damage potential is there, especially in the laning phase. It's certainly worth taking over an extra .5 second snare on ice imprisonment. I always take ult at 6 and I never regret it. When you get a good opportunity to use it, boy, does it shine.

uhh... in theory maybe. I think you'll find that people don't have 100% uptime on their stuns, you can jump into a jukespot and ult while being chased. I once saw at level 6 3 people tower dive Glacius after finishing off his lanemate and he got a hattrick simply because he went into a jukespot [the right set of trees at Hellbourne's Tier 1 bot tower] and ulted doing huge damage. This was a pretty high level pub as well, not just random noobs. The potential is there, and most of the time it provides more than that extra .5 seconds of immobilise.
    I have returned

I understand this was a troll but. Long as your near the dieing enemy with a Sacrificial Stone you will gain a charge. You don't require the kill.

If you ulti and use the shroud while channeling, you will become invisible and continue raining slow death upon those who can't stun you.
