    no need for honmod.

One thing I noticed is if keeper uses a tree sight, you have no way to tell where it is, even if youre right next to it.

Anyone using the tree mod is so terrible that they wouldn't cut down a keeper eye anyway, even if they could see it.

Theres absolutly nothing wrong with this mod...
You dont gain any sight and you will probably even be putting yourself at a disadvantage while using it because you will aim spells like deadwodds uproot throw onto tress because the hitbox remains the same but you thought youd hid the guy running.
And anyone that loses sight of an enemy he is chasing because he is covered up by some leafs will not need this mod because they will not even know what juking is...

    Manabattery Mod= Cheat
    This stuff = perfectly fine

Also range circles are no big deal. I don't use them but it's really not that hard to imagine how far 700 range is when playing soulstealer.
(inb4 guys posting match ids where i missed a soulstealer nuke)

Hey, I'm not arguing semantics, simply pointing out a flaw of the modification.

I was able to see Keeper eyes still. I like this mod, I hate trees.

If the devs allow you to edit the graphics unabound, then of course people are going to make mods that give a slight advantage. The ONLY advantage I see is being able to see all the jukespots without having to learn them I dig it.

Only mod I used to get become a better player is channeling time mod i guess, it's gone now though because I know when my **** ends/how long it takes to cast. I think this mod is on the border of fair/cheat. It lets newer players learn some nice juke spots, as a higher tier player... I have no trouble with finding a juke spot. In lower tier games (<1500) people may have trouble with this mod because they can't juke yet.

conclusion: this mod is fine, it does not give huge advantages like exact range of spell usage/mana battery mod

    Thanks Vahn

Great mod. Can you make a version with all brown trees? I hate grey trees :P

  12. #52
i agree on the non cheating part of this mod... it doesn't give extra sight, just a clear view of trees... if u want a pro mod, u can modify the death animation on trees...

@kippetje : if u see channeling bar might be called cheating, cuz on a normal game u dont see a timer counting the seconds on the skill... still is considered a usefull mod. so is this.

  13. #53
It's not cheating, but it totally breaks the learning curve like all those other grey-area mods out there. Which is stupid. Mods are supposed to enhance your game, not make it retardedly easy.

There has to be some sort of learning curve in hon, because there are so many aspects to it. Stop making babysit mods.

it isn't cheating, but its borderline cheating. knowing the juke spots kind of mirrors the knowledge about the game. knowing how to account for different ranges right mirrors knowledge about the game, too (speaking of range indicators).
not needing to learn stuff about the game lowers the learning curve, period. there is nothing to discuss about it. it is a fact that not needing to learn stuff decreases the learning curve.

you may discuss about if this is bad (lowering the learning curve) or if lowering the learning curve just for a variety of (but not all) players may be (borderline) cheating.

sigh, so all you cheat/borderline speakers .. how do you supposed to learn juke paths then?
load map in practice and find them by trial-and error?

while things like http://hondb.com/?caldavar will give you a basic idea i'm not sure how is this THAT much different ... also while all major paths are drawn i'm not sure if all places are ... why not just remove map part from minimap? lets just have a black square with hero icons 'cause you need to learn and remember map by yourself'

PS: all further discussion on this matter will be ignored by me

low PSR people complaining about cheating lmao...

If you use jukepaths you will learn where they are. It doesn't matter if you use a printed map or a mod. As soon as the paths are memorized this mod gets useless because the paths are in your mind anyway.

Conclusion: Epic mod for you newcomers since it easier to learn the paths.

Maybe the others are just pissed off because they had to print a map and learn it the hard way.
