Technically it's up to you, the vast majority of the organization is US players, usually around 6pm-2am EST is the high traffic times, so it would depend if you find that you fall inside that time span where you wouldn't feel left out XD
Is it possible for someone to join the Am. community and then, say if they should show outstanding comprehension and execution of tatics in the game that they could then either try out for Prof or would they instead be approached by the vVv gaming staff/prof members?
Basically after the team is official created, will there be any type of substitution list or will the team be set in stone until there is a change in the roster? Sorry but ive never really been into the professional gaming community but ive always been up for a challenge. Basically just wondering because id rather work my up thru the community proving/improving my skill to be able to play at a level that i feel could be deemed professional. So in short, will it be possible in the future, by proving oneself to members of the community, to work your way into gaining the possiblity of trying out for the professional team later on?
Essentially the competitive team is up to the players, as people find people the work well and synergize with, they grow into teams of 2, 3, 4 and then 5.
Anyone can play well and know their mechanics to the T, but 5 guys who are all great players but all have a huge superiority complex, its the team synergy that really defines how well 5 people can perform in a competitive setting.
My usual recommendation is that you apply as a community gamer, and then once we know you have a place on a team, we can move your application elsewhere.
Recruiting is still ongoing, looking for more high tiered active players to round out a solid inhouse community, as well as those with a strong understanding of game mechanics and familiarity with Captain Mode style of gameplay, bans and picks, and potential assistants for overseeing and timing bans and picks for future tournaments.
Shoutcasters are also still being searched for, currently we have approval from Honcast but if any others are willing to pitch in more volunteers with experience, or newcomers with some sort of video example of a match they have done so far, are also welcome to contact me via PM.
just kinda curious as to whos gonna be on the competitive team? i'm guessing kirby but who else
Sounds good, much appreciated, I'll try and snag you when I next see you online and talk to you a bit about the details.
I mean "troublesome sometimes" as in "I won't play with Voices, he scrub" than "wow kirby you never gank". I don't have a God complex (despite common belief), my selfish playstyle is entirely based off how I learned to play the game and has nothing to do with my willingness to take criticism (its there) and to admit I'm doing something wrong (again its there). Regardless, if you have no problem at all with playing for us, as I've said, you're skilled and would be great to have along... (in other words, don't get the idea that I'm harboring some kind of secret grudge beyond what I just said).
The defection of okC to iRG was simply poorly timed. If we can't use subs for Alienware tourney we're going to have use a team of Aver, Steve, QTIP me and...no idea. Hobson sadly has a broken PC. That's why I said "I might not play at all", not raging/bothered over okC defection so much as dependant on a leniant ruleset for Alienware.
Edited this a few times to better get my message across...

Can't say i see vVv as a team when i joined the clan a while back i never saw anyone playing=/ and when i asked if anyone wanted to play, no one responded. Maybe it is diffrent now but GL.
damn qtip, for someone that is pretty unimpressive as a player you sure talk alot of ****
first of all qtip, pretty sure we've only scrimmed you 3 times and we're 2-1 against you, the only loss being when we tried something completely new.
and that doesn't change the fact that whenever you do win it's because of kirby because you do things like battlefury on pestilence.
Well to be fair, I remember him doing well that game...
I tried to do a search in replays for vVv/d0g/whatever (makes you type of real clan name) but the Clan feature seems incredibly useless. Regardless, there were losses/wins on both sides and we've both scrim'd quite a bit...
Overall I don't find it difficult to imagine we would lose more games, vVv has terrible teamwork and that is generally my fault.
Is donkeykiller going to be on your competitive roster? I think your team could have some potential
