I would like to introduce you to the new Hoeroes of Newerth Community Europe - HCE.
The former DCE Leadership from DotA with years of experience under their belt is currently working on setting up an Inhouse Community for High Skilled players who are looking for competitive games within a friendly environment.
Our offer is open for anybody who wants to give it a try and post a vouchrequest. Also, if you are not from europe, don't hesitate, apply by all means!
Now of course the questions are starting to pop up in your heads.
What does HCE offer you exactly?
- competitive games in a friendly environment moderated by experienced administrators ( more than 5 years of experience with ( DotA ) Inhouse Communities and their administration ( http://www.dce-gaming.com ))
- a functional homepage with an adjacent forum to discuss and communicate with your fellow players you meet in your hopefully everyday gaming routine in HCE => http://www.hce-gaming.com
- an improved warning and punishment system ensuring you leaver-free and mannered games on a high level
- a lot of fun
What does HCE expect from you in exchange?
- at least mid to mid-high skill level concerning last hitting, map awareness, knowing the heroes roles, etc.
- good manners and sticking to the principles HCE stands for
- activity in the forum and the game, it is not mandatory, but you will find it to be fun!

In order to become a community member in HCE, just visit http://www.hce-gaming.com/ and follow the instructions in the vouching forums and their stickies.
Since the future channel "Clan HCE" is not yet moderateable due the incomplete the clan feature, the channel is still open for everyone of you who wants to play competitive games or just see how well our members are getting along. You can also participate and visit us in the forums already. If you liked what you saw, why not apply?

Update October 2009:
Slamdancer and I, along with some old mates from DotA, started HCE 3 months ago. We had the aim to form a small high class community to have good in house games on a high skilled level with people you know. We had a great start, every evening we had some in house games running with only HCE player in. Our community has grown. We had ~70 trials at peak time! But with so many trials the quality of the games decreased so some player preferred playing >1900 pubs instead of a HCE game and additionally lots of primarily high active player and staff member lost there interest in HoN and went back to DotA or real life.
All this lead to a decreasing activity and the HCE management decided to take action.
As most of you already noticed we split our community into 2 parts.
• HCE – HoN Community Europe
• HCI – HoN Community Invite
HCE focuses on mid skilled, mannered and leaver free games. A moderated channel easy to access with a small vouch request and without trial phase.
HCI focuses on high skilled competitive games like clan wars. HCI will be an invite only channel. Our voucher will look in normal HCE games for talented players and invite them into HCI.
We added all current trials into HCE and all previous vouched player into HCI. Additionally we go through denied trial threads and add all player who fulfil our current requirements for HCE to HCE.
So if your trial phase got denied check our site frequently to check if you got vouched into HCE. Due to the high amount of denied trial threads this procedure will take some time.
If you got any ideas how to improve the new system feel free to open a thread and discuss it with us. Also if you feel like helping our community with your knowledge / free time, drop a pm to slamdancer or me.

Actually the guys which are playing there are just to good, I prefer playing publics, since those guys just make me end with 2 -18 stats, something like that. If u feel good enough, its definately the place for you to play, If not keep on playing publics, like me.
One day I gonna own them though but I doubt I will improve in publics, **** it is actually a circuit which i cannot leave. There have to be better people in HON around which could **** up their asses, hopefully.
