Quality Control[QuC] is a team based around a small number of high quality players. This is not a massive clan of players, rather a small manageable team that can grow and develop as a competitive team together. We're only looking for a small number of players to create a core team with a few subs, and we're looking for dedicated players who will actually show up to scrims. Again, this is a high skilled team, I'm not looking to teach players how to play, but rather know that they have a general understanding of most aspects of competitive play. This is an American based team, though we don't restrict foreign players from joining, it's understood you have a very good knowledge of the English language and can get on at the times to participate with the team. We have our own ventrilo server, and it's obviously required that you have a good working microphone for communication. Lastly, I expect players who play with this team to be respectful to others in scrims, practice, and matches.
Advanced techniques I expect anyone who is interested to know:
*Micro, this includes chicken/crow micro in addition to summons and inventory
*Warding, every player should know most/all ward positions, in addition to being able to keep them up without losing vision
*Ventrilo installed and a good, working microphone; stress on good, I don't want to listen to massive static or feedback
*Know your role, I don't want supports nuking lanes carries could farm in, or carries having to go place wards
*Pulling, there are LOTS of advanced pulling areas beyond the basic sent bot/scourge top lane pulls.
*Complete understanding of the English language both written and spoken, the ability to speak clear and fluent English, as this is an American team
*Orb Walking, you should know what this is
*Attack Dancing, positioning after attacks to get the most amount of attacks in
*Aggressive laning, I don't want ***** players who stand back when they're supposed to initiate
*Map awareness, don't feed the game away to the other team
*LISTEN, if I tell you to buy wards buy them, don't argue with me
For all those interested in trying out, PM me with a little bit of information:
Name:
DotA Experience:
Prior leagues or known teams:
Good working mic:
Team role:
When you'd like to have a tryout game:
Why you think you're qualified to play with us:
To finalize:
You can message me in game if you'd like, but I require you send a PM with the above information for sake of organization. I will not remember who you are or know who you are unless you send it, so just go ahead and do it. You can throw me a message anytime under Angel if I haven't responded and I'll check it out. I get a lot of PMs, I might have deleted it(though this is unlikely). A lot of players who have been interested aren't nearly up to par with what I'm looking for, so I'll stress I'm looking for good players. If at anytime during the tryout you:
*ask for an item build
*ask where to place a ward
*ask what kind of wards when I tell you to ward
*pick a hero I didn't tell you to
*don't buy chicken/wards when I told you to
You can be safe in assuming you're not going to make it into the team, so please don't waste my time.

Does this mean there are going to be about 50 more raging nerds screaming every time they die on vent?
Christopher, he drank from the chalice of corruption.
Currently there are only two players, me and whoever was left from my friendlist who joined it in the first place. I'm sure Simba would join it, but as of now there isn't even enough to make a team of five. I don't intend on getting this clan filled with bad players, nor do I want it to have a huge player base.
Angel you know you want me on the team ADD Me GO GO GO!!! =)

Name: Zhengman
Experience: 2 years of dota
Prior leagues or teams: none
Vent and mic: both
Team role: tank, carry, initiator/support
Why you're interested in joining:
i have wanted to join a competitive clan/team for HoN for a while now, but the clan my friends and i made died quickly, as they do not play HoN as often as i do. check my stats out, and i'd be happy to try out on a planned date.
Not true at all, even though people love to say it.
Tank is not a role, yes, but it is a class of hero.
Legionnaire qualifies as a tank, as does Zephyr, Keeper, and Electrician.
Obviously the HoN version of a tank does not conform to the MMORPG version of a tank. A tank in HoN is simply a hero that has high HP and is able to operate effectively when getting focused.
for some reason PM's are screwing up for me, so ill have to post here :0

To update all of the people interested. I've been trying out people one at a time, but eventually I'd like to get five of you on a team to either play against me and some friends or spectate and watch how you guys function as a team. As of now, unless you PM me, it's very rare that you'll actually be noticed for a tryout. It's much easier to see who is interested in PMs.
Holy snap angel, 1.7k posts? No wonder you got that gold shield!
Leave clan QuC and join UE!
No thanks. Most heroes are do not have multiple faceted roles.
