Skill 1: Summoned Lance
5% Manacost.
Shoots a magical lance at the enemy, dealing 100% Weapon damage. Restores 4/6/8/10% Mana. 2s cooldown.
Skill 2: Graveyard of Spears
Uses the 3 subskill slots. 10% Manacost.
Each subskill summon one spear from underground at target location. The spears last for 15 seconds. The spears must be within 450 units of each other, if they aren't, those not in range disappear. When all three spears are summoned, every enemy inside the triangle of the spears is stunned for 1/2/3/3 seconds and takes 100/150/200/300 damage. The spears have 50/100/150/200 hp and are not affected by splash/area effects. 0.5s cooldown on all three skills after casting. 0.5s casttime. 20s cooldown on all subskills after successful activation. 4s cooldown on the used subskill.
Skill 3: Impalement
15% Manacost.
Deals 100/160/220/300 true damage to a stunned enemy and reduces his movement speed by 10/20/30/40% for 4 seconds. Does no damage/snare against non-stunned enemies. 6s cooldown.
Skill 4: Gae Bolg
300/450/600 mana
On the first activation, an area of 500 radius is selected. On the second activation, an area of 250 radius whose center is inside the larger circle. On the third activation an area of 100 radius whose center is within the circle of the second activation. A mighty lance is then called from the skies and strikes all enemies in the 100 radius with devastating power for 450/675/950 damage or inflicts instant death if the enemy is below 33% hp. Half the damage is physical, the other half magical. The instant-death cannot be blocked by any effect.
1 second between each activation minimum, 5 seconds maximum. Selecting invalid targets or not executing fast enough resets the sequence.
Yet another nuker. Less straight-forward and less damaging than pyro/thunder, but he is better at punishing enemies who are not careful. This hero rewards good micro, foreplanning and fast reaction. He is a ranged hero in reality, using his first skill as the primary attack while restoring mana to be able to reposition the spears of skill 2 more frequently.
GFX thoughts:
Skill 1 - Summon the lance in midair and shoot it straight forward.
Skill 2 - For the caster himself, there should be circles around the spears, indicating valid range. The activation effect is lots of spears coming out of the ground.
Skill 3 - More spears piercing through the ground, and through the enemy from all sides.
Skill 4 - Make it epic. Glowy lance shooting downwards, explosion on impact. There should be a visual indicator that can be seen by the enemy team for the first selection. The damage hits as soon as the third selection is done.
Random thoughts: Yeah he does replenish mana by attacking. However, his stunfield takes at least 30% of his mana to activate, 45% with impale. if you then want to activate the ult, you need about 1200 max mana - and you are completely dry then. You can also destroy the spears and they can't be recast for 4 seconds, making it difficult to activate the field against aware opponents who are reacting properly. Maybe let the ult be boosted by Staff of the Master to keep it in line with Pyro's damage.
