    GIVING A FEW MORE BUMPS BEFORE I MAKE THIS A "DEAD" IDEA!
    Hmm.. all these no votes seem to leave no comment -_-
    I HAVE RE-FORMATED THIS HERO - HOPEFULLY IT DOES HELP CAUSE I DID SPEND QUITE A LOT OF TIME =D

    P.S: Ignore the icons, I used my "Reaper's" format.


    Had suggestions from friends to add some movement speed bonus to Re'an Absorption per illusion absorbed.
    What do you think?

    -Story/Background-
    Varen

    Story - (More like a chapter in a book ^^)
    An average man, caught up in what average men do:
    Gambling, ***, gambling, *** etc.
    He was raised by an old grumpy woman, a very wise person many who mentioned her. And so, during his childhood it wasn't completely normal to others. Varen was usually kept in a closed room with all sorts of abnormal things as his 'mother' was busy. One day, Varen asked who made them, where it came from. His 'mother' replied "they're your fathers, he was an engineer."
    Varen then asked, "What did my mother do?"
    "She was a sorcerer with great power" said his 'mother' in some what a bland way. "You are one was well, you just don't know it yet my dear boy. You're also a smart one too, though do not let that get ahead of you, never underestimate anything, a first rule given to your mother by me.
    And so after years went by, his 'mother' eventually died, but left him everything she owned, and a scroll that he hadn't seen in his life, was in her very lifeless hand.
    Varen opened carefully, as the scroll looked like it was created before Newerth, though the scroll itself was if it was brand new. Varen quickly skimmed through it, and as he analysed every word, he realised that it was a list of various rituals, one that would change a very being into something else.
    Varen picked one of the rituals randomly and started immediately right before his 'mother' who was lying on the floor, still. It took hours before Varen had found all the ingredients and such, but eventually - he obtained them all.
    He incanted all the words written beside the ritual, word for word. It went on for an hour till red started glowing all around him, he had finished the ritual...
    What was to be expected was unknown to him, but he knew he had to stay still till the red glowing around him stopped. And so he decided to sit down and wait for as long as it took. Then right after the the effects were finishing, Varen was interrupted by a big crash through the front door.
    A creature it seemed, though alien to Varen. The creature struck the Varen with it's alien-like claws, causing Varen to recoil back a sudden. He would avoid a few more strikes, but he knew he was going to eventually get hit, as the room was small, he could not run out of the situation. Varen found a walking stick that was not regularly used by his 'mother', and so he struck back as often as he could, as well as dodging all the creatures attacks, but it was inevitable that he should die first. Varen was struck by the creature's claws, but he did not bleed or was moved, Varen became see-through, though blurred at the same time, and at that instant, he duplicated into two!
    Astonished Varen was, but he had no time to admire, he already knew this was part of the ritual - a ritual with the ability of giving the user some power and which this was one of them.
    Varen eventually killed the creature with his clone, and was left to see his town destroyed, he fled and learnt his talents. Then some how, ended up in the armies of the Legion. This is the story of Varen.

    Le'tha Evasion (Q)


    Varen pre-sees everything.
    Skill Mechanics: When Varen is about to be hit by either spell or physical hit, there is a chance that Varen will avoid this attack by replicating himself.
    Will be invulnerable for 0.05 seconds.
    Cooldown will commence once the spell is activated.
    Damage dealt and taken by images will be referred to the level of Mag'regon Replication.
    Target type is a self position.
    Cast time of 0.05.
    When replicating, the image will always appear on the left side.
    Mana depletes according to the level automatically whenever replicating.

    (1) 9% chance to replicate.
    (2) 10% chance to replicate.
    (3) 11% chance to replicate.
    (4) 12% chance to replicate.

    Manacost: 15/20/25/30
    Cooldown: N/A

    Mag'regon Replication (W)


    Varen tears himself apart again and again.
    Skill Mechanics: Creates an image of Varen, and after 3 seconds, another image is created from both Varen, and other existing images with this process being continued for a duration.
    Also, Varen and his images will gain 2.5% increase in movement speed and attack speed per image on play (including Varen himself).
    Will be invulnerable for 1 second when replicating affecting both images and Varen ("Real One").
    When image(s) replicate, they will restore health and mana according to the 'Real' Varen.
    Any images that are destroyed will re-appear by replicating off an image or Varen - after the next tick.
    Target type is a self position.
    Cast time of 1 second.
    When replicating, the image will always appear on the left side.
    Images also have a percentage of spell reduction.

    (1) Images deal 25% damage and take 375% damage. The process of imaging ends after 11 seconds. Images have 20% spell reduction.
    (2) Images deal 30% damage and take 350% damage. The process of imaging ends after 15 seconds. Images have 30%% spell reduction.
    (3) Images deal 30% damage and take 350% damage. The process of imaging ends after 19 seconds. Images have 50% spell reduction.
    (4) Images deal 35% damage and take 325% damage. The process of imaging ends after 19 seconds, with 5 more seconds till images duration ends. Images have 50% spell reduction.

    Manacost: 85/110/135/160
    Cooldown: 45

    Re'an Absorption (E)


    Varen absorbs his clones, giving him unstoppable power!
    Skill Mechanics: Upon activation, all images near Varen, will be absorbed into him, which allows Varen to do a number attacks with insane IAS (buff is called "Over Energised"), equal to the number of images absorbed, though only dealing a percentage of Varen's based damage whilst having the buff Over Energised.
    Also, if Varen places a number of attacks while under the effect 'Over Energised', a replication of Varen will appear that can deal damage equal to the Varen's base damage, though takes a percentage amount of extra damage.
    The buff "Over Energised", will be removed off Varen, if all attacks relating the the number of replications have been terminated
    Over Energised lasts 10 seconds.
    Damage dealt and taken by images will be referred to the level of Mag'regon Replication.
    Invulnerable state lasts 0.60 seconds.
    Target type is a self position.
    Cast time of 0.60 seconds.
    Mag'regon will continue even after this spell is casted, though images do not gain the Over Energised buff.
    The image replicated from this ability takes extra damage by 300% at all levels.

    (1) 6 attacks must be terminated for an image to appear. Deals 50% damage when under 'Over Energised'.
    (2) 5 attacks must be terminated for an image to appear. Deals 50% damage when under 'Over Energised'.
    (3) 5 attacks must be terminated for an image to appear. Deals 55% damage when under 'Over Energised'.
    (4) 4 attacks must be terminated for an image to appear. Deals 60% damage when under 'Over Energised'.

    Manacost: 80/100/120/140
    Cooldown: 15

    Mirror Ports (R)


    Varen uses his engineer skills to create mirrors that link together, allowing units to pass through.
    Skill Mechanics: Creates a "Mirror", which can later "link" to another Mirror, allowing Varen with a certain amount of other heroes to enter through one to another.
    NOTE: Only a certain amount of heroes can go through a single mirror at a time.
    A single mirror alone will do nothing.
    Cooldown to place another mirror only commences when a second or third mirror is placed.
    Cooldown commences when a second or third mirror has been placed.
    Mirrors are invisible.
    Mirrors have vision covering a 100 radius.
    Must channel for 3 seconds to place a mirror.
    If attacked whilst channeling, Varen will be stunned for 2 seconds.
    There are THREE different cooldowns:
    1. To place another mirror.
    2. To change 'links' between other mirrors.
    3. When you can go through a mirror that has been recently used before - 45 seconds.

    Varen may go through his mirrors Anytime.
    The third cooldown refers to the amount of heroes able to enter a mirror at one time.
    If a mirror has NOT been 'completely' used, a cooldown of 15 seconds will 'secretly' commence so the max number of heroes is refreshed instead of waiting to be 'completely' used in which commences the third cooldown (45 seconds).

    (1) Only two mirrors may be in place. Mirrors only have a 'One Way', meaning you can only go through one mirror which will lead to another (1st: = Enter - 2nd = Exit).
    Only one other hero may go through a mirror at once.
    Mirrors can be 'switched' so that the mirror which was an 'Enter' will become 'Exit' and the other mirror vice versa.
    A cooldown of 8 minutes will commence before you can 'switch' again.
    (2) Only three mirrors may be in place. Mirrors only have a 'One Way', meaning you can only go through one mirror which will lead to another, (1st: = Enter - 2nd = Exit) - Though with three mirrors, it will become a circle.
    Only two heroes may go through a mirror at once. Mirrors can be 'switched' so that the mirror which was an 'Enter' will become 'Exit' and the other mirror vice versa. With three mirrors, it will only reverse the circle.
    A cooldown of 6.5 minutes will commence before you can 'switch' again.
    (3) Only three mirrors may be in place. Mirrors can be controlled to which the port will travel to, meaning you can choose where which a mirror will go to (2nd or 3rd).

    Only three other heroes may go through a mirror at once.
    A cooldown of 5 minutes will commence before you can change links (Only to the mirrors that have be linked - so you can use the third one (if one is placed) even when you've just recently linked two others).

    Manacost: 150/200/250
    Cooldown: 260

    -Animations-
    Mag'regon Replication
    Varen will turn into a blur, then quickly split, in which Varen(s??) is still blurred. Then of course, there will be two Varens - illusion is coloured blue in ally vision.
    Le'tha Evasion
    Same like Mag'regon, except it's even faster.
    Re-Form!
    Varen will have his feet spread out, but not too far as if to see him doing a split- He then will bow with his arms 'cuddled' in, then straightens back up with his hands sticking out -(like doing starjump)-, then red will briefly glow around him - with images getting sucked into him.
    Place Mirror Port
    Varen will crouch down at the targeted area, in which then will stay there for 5 seconds (channeling time) with his hands moving. What the mirror looks like: A brown curly frame, and plain white for the actual glass.


    -Explanation/Clarification-
    Mag'regon Replication:
    1 = 2 (4 seconds later)
    2 = 4 (4 seconds later) (lvl 1 = +3 seconds | total of 11 seconds)
    4 = 8 (4 seconds later) (lvl 2 = +3 seconds | total of 15 seconds)
    8 = 8 (4 seconds later) (lvl 3 = +3 seconds | total of 19 seconds)
    8 = 8 (With 5 seconds to control till duration of images ends (lvl 4 = +5secs | total of 23 seconds)

    Discussion
    Varen is an effective pusher, where his ultimate is a 'non lose potential', and which becomes even better late game.
    Heck! he could even be a carry IMO.
    The plan with this guy is to place one mirror inside the oppositions forest - to sneak up on creepers/farmers, one in fountain for retreating, and another somewhere you think might be useful (Runes?). You also have to make sure, that the enemies donot see you disappear out of no where or else, they'll know there's a mirror there, and that's 200gold for that guy who destroys it, as well as we have to wait 360 seconds before we can place another = major pain
    Concluding - Don't let any of the enemies know where your ports are -
    Map control is very important, and this guy has it all IMO. If you have Staff which boosts ultimate to allowing 4 extra heroes going through one mirror at the same time, then including you = Whole team has just teleported right next to enemy base in less than a second. You attack base, then retreat a minute later STRAIGHT to fountain. Then guess what? You can start that cycle all over again.

    Instead of another 'up', i thought I'de talk about my hero as well =D
    The ultimate is the key to this hero and to it's major role - Pusher, though with a decent amount of good carry potential. The images are also a major part to the role, as well as again - giving some carry potential when combined with the spell "Re-Form!".
    I'm still not sure about the % dealt, from "Over Energised", though he has no stuns or slows, so I figured it balances it out a bit. But this is my opinion - i need yours people!

    I love that ulti, gives insane map control and doesn't seem to OP seeing this guy has no stuns and all. Though i'de change the % of that evasion thing to at least 10%

    Nice idea, but 15 illusions? - If you want to stick with 15, you shouldn't be allowed to controll them, they should just attack closest creep/hero

    And the mirrors are crazy, but I like it a lot!

    Eeek, before i had 25 lol. But i figured "FOUR" seconds is quite a long time if used during combat, - but then of course you can use it at some fountain and wait till you have 15 images but they last for an extra 5 seconds? Or using it with the third skill which then becomes "Over Energise" = 10 seconds. You have no choice but to cast it in combat. Sooooo, i might keep it the way it is, though thx for suggesting.
    (We'll see what other people think of it)
    Though i'll might increase the damage taken by 350%, but first, i want more opinions towards this

    I love the concept, though those 15 illusions would be deadly. They do what 35% damage? you do 200 damage, thats 70 damage each. say you only get 5-10 out. Thats what 350-700 aditional damage per attack from them, 900 damage per second if you have 1 second cooldown on attack, kill anyone in seconds. On top of that this is an agi hero, made to be a carry chances are more like 300-400 damage, shudder to think at the ownage that could take place.

    But I digress the concept is still awesome and its not the figures that decide, just the concept. Welldone.

    Lol, thx, i guess then i'll change increase the damage taken as well as decrease damage dealt. Also decided to change the damage dealt in the third skill. (Gosh, numbers are hard >.<)

    aaahhh to many colors!

    Try to limit the amount of colors in your text to 2-3, and use some less bright colors, its alot easyer on the eyes.

    Take a look at ShadowExile his hero suggestion he did a great job on the colors imo.

    Yea the colors are blinding!
    On the topic of Varen - The ult seems to balance out the hero due to all the clones and the hyper ias buff, but I was wondering if the mirrors had a vision radius so Varen could blink up onto a cliff place a mirror to also be used as a ward/exit/escape?

    you shoulnd't make the vision of the mirros to big as shagora says they would be used as wards and i think thats not the concept u want great hero i wonder if it will work witout any nukes this realy has the phantom lancer feeling to it

    Me inspired by Phantom lancer? God no, i hated him, it was either i played bad with him, or i just didn't like the hero at all (2nd). Though i loved naga siren, the immbolising net - the sleep positioner, naga siren was great. You compare naga with phantom, active - non-active/boring
    The "Phantom Lancer Feeling" is probably the fact that this guy has masses of illusion heroes. Phantom was boring, lance, auto-attack and dopple for escape/confusion.
    PL didn't much in team clashes either.
