Updated for patch 1.0.10
Hey everyone. Here's a mod I whipped up after I got the idea for it. This mod replaces the Announcer hero selection sounds with a quote from the hero you picked. These are:
Also, it turns out you can only have 65 images in a post... so some heroes don't have their icons.

Install this mod in the Heroes of Newerth/game/ folder. To remove this mod, delete resourcesHeroSelectQuotes.s2z.

All of them that currently have voices are finished. Off the top of my head, Pandamonium, Chipper, Fayde, and Vindicator still have the announcer voice. I'll make a chart that shows the hero and their quote.

Well, it's more of "I don't have my own number so I'll write down a number." If anyone could tell me how to request a number, that would be appreciated.

You don't need to have a number anymore IIRC, just name it appropriately(with a written name, not numbers). The repositories were just left up for convenience.
It was orignial though s2z files used to have to be labeled reourcesxxx.s2z where xxx is a number, but it's since been found that a whole lot of alphabetical characters works fine. Like resourcesHeroSelectionQuotes.s2z or similar.
Use Soundwizard's sounds for panda and Chipper ^^
^this and use soundwizards voice for pred its the best!

same problem here. I think the problem is because he had a failure creating the s2z file... I mean... all customization mods have in the s2z first the folder "heroes"(most of them) and his has a folder with the name of the mod.
I don't know how to change it...Tried but couldn't do it.
Can anyone do it plz? =)

He done all things right but the S2Z is not correct, he forgot to leave hero folder alone inside the archive, i just redone that and its fully working, try it:

Thank you very much, Khain, for fixing this. I haven't dealt with the honmod version yet, but even so, I still need to update the s2z with the new heroes. After that's done I'll work on converting everything over.
