Cloak Of Dispersion [The numbers can be changed for balance, vote on concept]
+ 10 Armor
+ 12 All stats
+ 3 Regeneration Aura
+ Active Ability - Cooldown 50 seconds - 75 mana
- For 7 seconds, whenever you take damage, your ally heroes in 875 area will be healed for the amount of damage taken shared among the heroes. Healing cannot expire 375 health per hero.
Example: You activate this ability when you have 2 friendly heroes in 800 area, and you get nuked for 600 damage, you still lose the health, but ally the heroes will get healed for 300 health (600 / 2) because there are 2 heroes so the healing will get divided by them.
This item would be great for focus fired heroes and tanks, or maybe for countering certain heroes a bit, for example, using this in Magmus' ultimate, you heal your allies for a part of the damage and possibly save them.
Cosmetic: A green regeneration-like glow on the hero. (Need ideas on this)

I agree with Nome, if the item is going to use mekansm which is already an activated ability it ought to upgrade that activated ability, like healing for 300 to everyone and adding 50% dispersion to yourself... Regardless I think the item should be built using a different recipe if the objective is an activated ability with very little similarity to mekansm. I think there's a reason there are no other activated abilities on items in the game that can be upgraded or get removed, the only exception was diffusal blade which used to get upgraded to manta which has now fortunately changed.
The recipe could be changed, indeed. Any ideas what to make it then?

Very cool item, would be great for any support or tank, especially in conjunction with Astrolabe
Though 7 seconds may be long for half of the damage transfering. If you were completely focused, it would negate any aoe damage your team took entirely, which would be pretty unbalanced. Maybe if it had a cap on the healing, in which case a cap of like 300 would be good, hero heals average around there.

A cap of healing would be good for every hero so that every single hero may get healed for like around 450? Since Astrolabe heals already half of that, and this item is much more costly, and even more easily avoidable by not attacking.
Also is it possible for any administator or something to add a poll to this?
