I just wanted to thank the creators of this mod manager. I am a mac user and it is 100% easier then loading the old one + mono, so thank you.
using this mod manager for my new mods
thanks again for the updates
http://yurixyworks.com
I am using oracle-jre-bin-1.7.0.2
added mods do not show up. Applying them does nothing but copy .honmod files into game/mods

Does anyone know of a mod manager actually working in Linux?
Hero Panels II breaks the interface when it's applied with this.
Java 7 as far as I know break my ModManager. Try using the Oracle's JRE 1.6 u 30. This mod manager actually works on Linux, and I play on Linux with mods.
After i apply the mods, how come i can't edit the settings in the settings menu inside hon. like i put lord's mainmenu but i can't find it on the mods page in the settings button.
i did everything right, and i have the latest java installed, and i already ran the jarfix as admin, but i can only open it with winrrar (then i get the directory of folders), i try to manual pick java, javaw, javaws, etc etc but any of the java apps can open it, the first opens a black window that closes in a second, the others give a message error, what can i do to be able to open the program?
thanks in advance
1. Open CMD
2. Navigate to the folder of the Manager.jar
3. Type java -jar Manager.jar
it says this: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Heroes of Newerth\game\mods>manager.jar
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: C:\Program Files (x86
)\Heroes of Newerth\game\mods\Manager/jar
Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: C:\Program Files (x86)\Heroes of Ne
werth\game\mods\Manager.jar

at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method)
at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source)

at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source)
Could not find the main class: C:\Program Files (x86)\Heroes of Newerth\game\mod
s\Manager.jar. Program will exit."
and then:
java is not recognized has a cmd command.
(ps: shirkit és brasileiro? é mais facil se me adicionares ingame e me ajudares por pm lá)

Please redownload the Manager.jar file in the first post.
Make sure again you have Java installed (www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp)
Re-run the Jarfix as admin
Try running Manager.jar with double-click
If none of this works, then I suggest doing this:
1. In the CMD, navigate to the place where java is installed (example, C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin")
2. Here, type: java -jar "C:\Program Files(x86)\Heroes of Newerth\game\mods\Manager.jar"
If the first solution didn't, and the second did, please tell me.
(ps: Sim sou brasileiro, mas jogo pouco o HoN)
first solution: same result.
second solution: " C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin>java -jar "C:\Program Files (x86)\Heroes of Newerth\game\modes\Manager.jar"
Unable to access jarfile C:\Program Files (x86)\Heroes of Newerth\game\modes\Man
ager.jar
btw i have java 6 update 31, on java website it says its the latest but i can download 7 from oracle site, should i?
You should type in between the "" the full path to the Manager.jar file, make sure it's a real path.
It actually does, if it didn't, then something is wrong.
Go to the Preferences menu and double check it is pointed to the right HoN folder.
Run as administrator (check first post, no use right click and run as admin)
im runing as administrator, its the right folder, it dosent create resource999.s2z
