Follow the first post steps to run as administator, right clicking doesn't work.
Yet another bug for you to solve, trying to apply CoN i get this error...
Well as you can see on my right i looked up and i think i found what was causing this issue, cuz when i fixed this i didn't get this error anymore, anyway idk if there is something wrong with the modman or my mod just were ****ed up, either way i'll let you have a look at it, What i did to fix it was as you can see both at line 3286 and 3309 thye're copying the same file, althought they're output isn't the same I just fixed so they didn't copy from the same file, so rly i don't know if this is a bug or not,
Also You might wna fix so it cleans your temp folder sometimes... I assume you delete your temp files after compiling but when an error accur it never deletes the files cuz i had 28mb stacked up there >_<' it's not much but still, unessescary data.
When you exit normally, that means no:Code:protected void shutdown() { logger.info("Shutting down!"); FileUtils.deleteTemporaryFolders(); // This can slow down closing speed if the user applied the mods lots and lots of times System.exit(0); }
- Program crashing
- Java crashing
- Ending task
The ModManager's temp folder is cleaned up.
Hi. Who can say me - what mods RANGE INDICATOR work with this awsome app ? I only need range indicators
I love the idea, i just home things get as easy as the first modmanager. Went trough quite a bit of trouble to fix it. But you explained things perfectly so wasnt that big of a deal as fast as I took time to read trough.
Nice to see some ppl with knowledge for such things takign time to help out the community. apperciated.
i keep getting a strange error whenever i start the manager. it works fine for the most part, but it give me an error saying "Can't load mod files from mod folder. Check your HoN mod path settings or restart this application."
if i hit ok, it starts fine and shows all my mods, only it shows them all as disabled, requiring me to enable them one by one when i want to update/apply them
http://pastebin.com/UyDYeMpr
pastebin is of me starting the manager, getting the error and then just closing it after seeing it show all the mods as disabled again
I just noticed JavaModman didn't tell you where the error is like Not's one when there's an error.
eg: XXXXX caused a problem, File XXXXX, referenced at line ## of XXXXX.xml not found.
kind of hard to figure out the problem if there's an error between two mods,
such as, BardUI+ and MiniUI

Thank you.

Uhm - who can I go back to the non-java modmanager?
After trying to apply mods with Modman I get the following message:
"Seems like you used a Mod-Manager which is incompatible, please use Java Modman!".
I want to go back because I'd like to use xUI - which needs the following fix (because I want to use right click deny, too):
http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/sh...8&postcount=98
But I can't apply this fix with Java Mod-Man, only with the one from Notausgang.
How can I unapply the java one please?
Thanks,
tony
I don't know why, but some random mod is throwing a Zip error while being loaded. Please, do this: remove half of your mods from the folder, and see if the error keeps going. If it does, remove other half, and then other half, until you find wich HONMOD file is throwing this error, and then you can upload it to me, so I can fix this bug. Thank you!!!
Enable Developer Mode under the Preferences menu.
Go to the Heroes of Newerth folder
Goto game
Delete file resources999.s2z (and only that file).
found it, Sephinator Quickstats
http://www.mediafire.com/?rcvh7lcnvmre8mb
everything works great now without this in there
also, when applying mods, the mod "Mods Out Of Date Reminder" is giving me an error, and since i dont have any mod called that in my mods folder, im assuming its built in to the manager or something?
the error is
"Lines: 10 - 10 | Content: CallEvent('event_login',1);"

Yes, that Auto Reminder is internal, and it's not working anymore, and I'm really bad at HoN modding, so when I release the next version I'll ask for some help ^^
Hey xD,
Me again, as i'm continuing my project I happend to come accross this error, I really don't know if this is a bug of yours but I've looked it over and over again and I just can't find the error, so It might be yours.
This is the code i'm trying to execute:
Seems pretty normal to me, I've checked the source location and it's correct unless I've become srsly blind. It keeps giving me the error that the source file doesn't exist but as I just mention'd I've checked the location and it's fine.Code:<copyfile name="heroes/accursed/passive80.effect" source="heroes/accursed/effects/body.effect"/>
Exception:
EDIT: My apolgizes, I found the problem, i forgot to add "fromresource='true'".Code:[ERROR gui:1690] - Error applying mods. A file wasn't found, so it failed to apply. java.io.FileNotFoundException: heroes/accursed/effects/body.effect at modmanager.utility.ZIP.getFile(ZIP.java:68) at modmanager.controller.Manager.applyMods(Manager.java:1153) at modmanager.gui.ManagerCtrl.applyMods(ManagerCtrl.java:1654) at modmanager.gui.ManagerCtrl$ApplyModsListener$1.doInBackground(ManagerCtrl.java:844) at modmanager.gui.ManagerCtrl$ApplyModsListener$1.doInBackground(ManagerCtrl.java:839) at org.jdesktop.swingworker.SwingWorker$1.call(Unknown Source) at java.util.concurrent.FutureTask$Sync.innerRun(Unknown Source) at java.util.concurrent.FutureTask.run(Unknown Source) at org.jdesktop.swingworker.SwingWorker.run(Unknown Source) at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor.runWorker(Unknown Source) at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor$Worker.run(Unknown Source) at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)

found another oddy
this mod
http://www.mediafire.com/?0gbpqjr1cas2ufk
does not work with the java mod manager, but works fine with the other one
its just a simple one i made for myself so i didnt have to use the .s2z that it initially came as
i dont get an error or anything, it says all mods applied successfully, but the cursors dont show up in game
hello, i am just wondering if you could implement what the regular mod manager does in regards to broken mods.
the original modman says things like "Unable to find blah blah blah at line XX of mod.xml" so if a mod breaks, we know which line of which file causes the problem.
if this has already been suggested, disregard my post (i didn't do a search before posting). if not, i think it would be a rather helpful addition.
cheers
Enable Developer Mode under options.
LOL.... his cursors were previously sad. smh.
Watch Me Work!!! They ask me NOT to KS, but when I don't the enemy almost always survives... and THEN I get blamed for it? Women... Oh, and by the way...Kraken was here.
