Im sorry but now Mag does the lost dam per hit compared to all the other STr heros. The amount of helth per 1 str is crap. 1str = about 2 hp. Wtf is that about.
I understadn his damage was a little to high. so you nerf him 30 points.. Are you ****ing kidding me? 10 to 15 points would have been fine.
armor nerf hurts also. Some how i feel like you people nerfed his mana per level also. i cant use stun and ult or ult then stun because i run out of mana. how the **** are people suposed to even consider playing this hero any more.
He needs a freaking buff. This is bull ****.
If you are running out of mana to use his Stun+Ult or even Blink+Ult+Stun you are using a inferior Magmus item build and probably trying to use him to melee damage people for a kill.
x2 Bracers should be a staple as it gives you the added survivability + mana to use your combo.
Enhanced marchers, and portal key should then make up the core of your items and you should play him as a support character that can initiate combat.
Magmus is still good, the only hero he can't ****ing touch is JEREZIAH. That bastard has Infinite Magic Immunity, seriously. Nerf his damn Magic Immunity already, the damn hero can't be killed by anyone except for a high damage melee or ranged.
Magmus Has extremely high utility, Aoe Stun/Nuke that doubles as escape and initiation, some of the best farming skills, and an ult that is.. we know what the ult can do- He needs to start out a bit frail or we'd be back where we were before they fixed him a couple days ago. He's still better than SK and SK is regularly used in very high lvl dota matches-
Still a top pick, just like SK in DOTA. Nerfs were just fine. Still don't know why S2 had the brilliant idea to put him in the game with a super buffed ult in the first place.
I'm not seeing any pointed reasons as to why Magmus is "better" than SK.

They shouldn't have nerfed magnus's stats that much. Whats really imba is his ulti delay; I think its 1 sec, its far too short for anyone to try and cancel it.
To be honest Sand King was a perfectly useful and well-balanced hero in DOTA.
They gave Magmus all the abilities of sand king, I'm surprised they didn't just copy and paste the balancing. Like the above poster said just make the stun/ult times and such the same as sand king and put the stats back to normal.
No reason to fix what wasn't broken.
magmus is now an exact copy.

When I first read that thread title, I thought it was sacrastic.
Those nerfs to Magmus were only so big because Magmus had accidentally been given too much damage and armour. S2 was merely fixing that error.
Magmus is still a significantly stronger version of Sand King, who has been a popular pick in DotA for a very long time. If you port a hero that is strong, but very stable in terms of balance, then every slight buff can make the hero gamebreakingly overpowered, and lava surge is significantly stronger than Burrow Strike on it's own and much stronger in combination with the ultimate.
In short: Magmus must be nerfed ASAP, just make Lava Surge function exactly like Burrow Strike and the hero should be fine.

You don't like Magmus? Go Jereziah and get lots of HP/MP/Damage. He's hard to scratch at that point (late game), but Magmus (even well-fed) is useless against him.
