The Ooj is a melee merchant designed to be stellar as a gank, harass, babysit and ward-hoe hero. He's designed to be a side-lane hero and extremely item independent. His skillset is designed to shutdown enemy carries and keep them constantly on their toes as well as giving your carry the ability to stay on top of the game.
Skill 1: Money Goblin (Skill Shot)
The Ooj launches a underground money globin at the enemy's purses, stealing gold if it hits. Launching the skillshot costs no mana, but will cost you gold. The skill becomes increasingly risky, with increasing rewards. The skillshot can be blocked by enemy creeps.
Range: 1200
Speed: Same speed as valk arrow. Slightly smaller hitbox.
Lvl 1:
Lvl 1: Costs 7 gold, if lands, steals 7-20 gold. 65 damage.
Lvl 2: Costs 15 gold to launch, if lands, steals 15-45 gold. 100 damage.
Lvl 3: Costs 30 gold to launch, if lands, steals 30-105 gold. 150 damage.
Lvl 4: Costs 60 gold to launch, if lands, steals 60-185 gold. 200 damage.
The amount of gold stolen is dependent linearly on the distance travelled. If it hits a creep, damage is done but no money is stolen.
Cooldown: 7/9/11/13
This is your main form of harassment during early game. You will keep your enemy constantly on his toes to prevent losing massive amounts of money.
Skill 2: Investments
The Ooj passively gives you additional gold every set amount of time.
Lvl 1: gives +2 gold every 10 seconds. Also, lose 20% less gold upon death.
Lvl 2: gives +4 gold every 10 seconds. Also, lose 30% less gold upon death.
Lvl 3: gives +6 gold every 10 seconds. Also, lose 40% less gold upon death.
Lvl 4: gives +8 gold every 10 seconds. Also, lose 50% less gold upon death.
Skill 3: Allied Aid
The Ooj is able to transfer gold to any ally hero with a variable transaction rate.
Range: Global.
Lvl 1: gives 200 gold at -15% rate. (Meaning you give away 200 gold, but your ally only receives 170 gold)
Lvl 2: gives 200 gold at -8% rate. (Give away 200 gold, ally receives 184 gold)
Lvl 3: gives 200 gold at 0% rate. (Give away 200 gold, ally receives 200 gold)
Lvl 4: gives 200 gold at +5% rate. (Give away 200 gold, ally receives 210 gold)
Gold cost: 200 gold.
Cooldown: none.
This is particularly useful when you have an ally or two that needs that little 200 gold to finish a recipe
Skill 4: Gold Sunder
The Ooj is able to see the amount of gold the enemy heroes has, and able to swap between his and her gold after a 2 second channelling. Also deals damage equal to 75% of gold stolen.
Range: 750
Lvl 1: Max gold that can be sundered: 800 gold.
Lvl 2: Max gold that can be sundered: 1200 gold.
Lvl 3: Max gold that can be sundered: 1600 gold.
Cooldown:
75 seconds.
Staff of the masters removes the limit on the amount of gold that can be sundered.
Note that the Gold Siphon is particular unique, as its optimal use requires that the Ooj have very little gold, and that the enemy hero has a lot of gold.
