    fayde blink viable?

    so i have this match Match 40837176 where i tried post haste and PK on fayde. The idea of this is solo gank alot or more successful team ganks.

    here are my explanation for my build:

    post haste - mobility, for easier farming xp and hunting heroes. this hero isnt really item dependent to be very effective but level is very important. the higher your level is the more sneaky you are. You will also be using it alot to save team or gank a farming/jungling hero

    Portal Key - i bought this item so that i could make full use of mana burn and stun. Attacking from an invis state, an enemy can escape easily later in the game, but with port key, ganking is much more successful. It also allows you to use more stuns and mana burn on teamfights. So, you blink in, stun, spin, use invi then slow, then if target lives after crippling hits, your stun and spin is ready. Another advantage of this is for pbox build.

    pbox - mana rape and extra dps, works well with blink, stun and slow.

    Every hero with straigh line stun is good with blink. I think specially in Fayde's case because she has good escape ability after she takes lots damage after iniation.

    Blink, burning shadows, geometer's and ulti will cause lot of confusion during team fights and you will pretty surely avoid single target nukes such WS or Pyro's ultimates.

    i played more fayde today, and it really is ****ed up during a teamfight. you will be pretty much useless if you cant enter it in invis, enemies buy wards/bound eye. 500 cast range, 640 range line stun as the first thing to do wont achieve much as you can't land a good stun or you die fast enough. So i think with blink you can hit more targets in stun and create more confusion. And later after about 10-15 secs after blink, stun,spin,invis, you start hitting targets while invis(using ULTI as an offense/chase) and all your skills have cooled down. I think you are more effective this way.

    another thing i noticed on fayde is once you get shieldbreaker, or other dps items, enemy will focus you more, and will treat you like a carry so you cant be that much useful. With that, i wont get dps items anymore, other than NF/Geo which i am yet to try. Building pbox is the best way to help your team, and portal key has great synergy with pbox.

    for post haste, once you hit 16 you move at 520ms with ulti, so pretty much you will do lots of scouting in the enemy jungle to lead your team to gank a farming hero. it really helps alot. All this while you have your illu farming XP on a lane.

    definitely gonna try NF/Geo next time. i hope i can farm it, but being support hero and buying wards for team really makes it impossible to get.
