I'm sure there's been post after post after post about this, but nothing's changed, so I'll be the next one to post about it.
Glacius is garbage right now. The only reason anyone picks him is for his mana regen. The fact that his Ice Imprisonment doesn't cancel casts and silence the target makes him a steaming pile of crap. In DotA, the best way to get CM's ult off was to freeze the target, run up next to them, and then start it. Even if they could stun after they were out of her freeze, atleast you got some dmg out of it. I just had a game with three other heroes with stuns, and it didn't matter who I caught alone and if I froze them or not, because I'd still be stunned. There is no reason for someone that is FROZEN SOLID to be able to finish a cast they were in the progress of casting, or cast while they are in the block of ice. It doesn't make any logical sense, and it doesn't make any sense for the hero. CM was my favorite hero in DotA, and Glacius is a joke in your game.
This HAS been posted and discussed to death before with one of two conclusions: 1) change the animation to show that only the target's legs are frozen, or 2) make it silence. We shall see what the devs choose. (BTW though, it does interrupt channeling spells when you cast it.)

Glacius is awesome, CM had a really shitty animation, with the new one he can play his babysitting role even better. The best way to land his ulti has always been with blink/bkb, I'm not saying you're going to farm it, but it's the best way.
You could cast in DotA too. Being able to cast here is nothing new. Glacius is significantly better than CM... he has better attack animation, and everything else is like the same. The attack animation being a severe buff...
The 280 movespeed is also rediciluous
Yet Frostbite functions like this in DotA (minus being able to blink out of the ice) :/.

Go try CM and come back.
Glacius is 6.59d CM but better due to his improved animation.
CM's brilliance aura was nerfed by 25% in dota 6.61.
I dunno, the math is pretty easy.
Glacius is one of the most overpowered heroes in the game rigght now, at least as far as organised games go. He's stronger than .59 Maiden (better attack animation >> slightly weaker Frost Bite) and she used to be a ban or a top pick.
On top of that, mana reliant heroes are overall stronger in HoN than they were in .59 DotA and there is no cooldown on Wards in HoN, making support heroes even more important.
Glacius could quite possibly be the strongest hero in the game right now.
