Like the idea, would be a obvious buy on Magebane imo , but please, increase the damage to atleast 35ish, 25 is really killing the damage gained from the 2 items, 30 from Wingbow and 20 from Whispering Helm = 50 damage.

And set the mana cost from 50>85, cooldown from 60>70 because the Scimitar is very strong for the mana cost / cooldown, now that I think of it, maybe make the bounty 107-115

So in short, the activated effect creates a scimitar that can take amage for you as well as attack enemy units? Thats a bit overpowered don't you think?

Maybe it should be something like:

    Scimitar, active effect
    Mana cost: 100
    Target: Self
    Duration: 5 seconds
    Cooldown: 60 seconds

Upon activation, creates a scimitar that follows you for 5 seconds in a 300 AoE. Deals 50 magic damage per second. Scimitar also has a 25% chance to redirect all attacks to itself, for a maximum of 3 attacks (includes spells and activated items targeted to wielding hero).

wasn't sure if you noticed, but this item can only be used to take the attacks twice though out the duration.

The idea of a scimitar that follows your actions like a minion would be kinda nice. But the way I see it, it should be more like an item that mimics your actions. Like doing 50% of your damage and a maximum of lets say 500-700damage. Could be horribly overpowered in some situations but if the recipe price would be higher and considering already high item related costs (Dancing blades and whispering helm) it would be a solid late late item.

Would say the stat bonuses should be exactly the same as the stats on the build up items.
Not sure if that is the 250g iron shield or a 250 recipe, but for only 250 you are currently getting alot of damage out of no where along with the effect.

Really good concept, but I would prefer this:
    Upgradable.
Summons an uncontrollable scimitar that flies around you (150-500) and damages everything in a 100/125/150 AOE around it as it moves by. When you attack something the scimitar will fly towards that target and circulate there.
Also it has 25% chance to take attacks instead of you, It can take 3/4/5 attacks before it is destroyed, AOE damage will remove one hit, also attacks that deal no damage(debuffs), auras will not do anything to id.
