Hi, this is just me QQing.
Nah, im fine even if we lost, just wanted to hear some thoughts perhaps some strats.
Had a game (stop checking the damn PSR, you wont find the game).. and I was blamed that whole team lost (in the first 5-10 mins!) LMAO.
BTW, at hero selection, 3 of my teammates picked melee, BH was mid, scout and swift. I said we need more AOE stunners or ranged. I already picked Slither. SW hadnt picked yet and he said he will go with SW, I said WTF, this is 1700++ game, we have 3 melees and SW is basically **** early game.
So it was me (Slither) and SW on Hellbourne TOP, vs Legion Jera and Defiler.
Me: We are so dead with 4 melees.
SW: Dont worry, we are strong late game!
SW: Babysit me well.
Me: Ok, Il try.
Meeting Jera and Defiler.
SW: Harass the **** out of them!
Me: Ok, Ill try to lvl ward.
They buy power supply.
SW: Come on, harass them, I cant farm.
Me: WTF do u want me to do? I told you you were useless. Late game my ass.
Defiler is spamming her nukes and harassing me constantly, Jera is healing her and got bottle as well.
Anyways, our bot didnt fare well as well, noob Swift and scout.
Anyways, if you guys were in our shoes, how would you deal with Jera and Defiler? they were controlling the lane extremely well, denying and last hitting only.
You had 2 hard carries, one good early/mid game hero and 4 idiots on your team.
Also, don't level wards if you're trying to babysit someone :/
Toxicity alone makes slither one of the better babysitters in the game. You hit them once? That's 170 damage. Early game, that's a metric **** ton. Easily enough to drive someone out of the lane.
I'm assuming that you went out and leveled wards. Use your head a little bit- if you're babysitting (See: Not pushing), Don't level a skill you use for pushes
In case you don't know, Sand Wraith IS useless till like 30 minutes into the game. Even then it's questionable as to whether he can help. Seriously, saying he's useless deserves a giant
NO **** SHERLOCK
Regardless, you were facing a double babysit lane, they get free harass over you and you are likely to lose that lane unless mid decides to help(which probably won't happen). This is pretty much the reason I don't like playing SW amongst many other hardcarries, I have to rely too much on my teammates doing their jobs and having map awareness. As for babysitting, never level and/or spam toxic wards. SW needs the creepwave close to his tower to farm and you pushing the wave makes it harder for him to farm and easier for you to get killed. Just get toxicity if they have too much of an advantage in the early lane.
I consider myself to be a pro slither player, I almost always win when playing slither regardless if I'm going support/push mode or carry mode. When playing slither as a babysitter (my favourite) always max poison spray and toxicity. At lvl 3 when you have lvl 2 toxicity one auto attack from you will take 20 % of defilers hp or jerazihas. Play aggressive as hell, don't last hit (EVER!!!) if there is an enemy hero in range. This will result in your carry freefarming and you scoring kills when your enemies get frustrated.
That being said picking sw after swift and scout had been picked is nothing short of retarded and as for lanes swift + slither = complete lane domination...
when i play harrasser, i allways pick a hero with slow as a ability, lvl it once or twice. After you have slowed one or both, u autoattack them with plenty of attacks. With slither, i wouldnt spec wards if ur going to harras, it only makes u push. Skill Q and W and try to follow what i said. Dunno if it works in ur stiuation with defilers nukes, but worth a try. Good luckAnd never blame teamm8s, they may act retarded, but every1 can carry with good items.
I would pick better and play with friends. Read Nome's laning guide.
BD/BP only unless you plan to pubstomp AP.
