I was thinking exactly the same thing. Also if teams don't play or show up i have a list of teams waiting to take there place so i will need a week for them to organize their match.
I am in the middle of changing the process.
It is my fault it is 3 weeks away as i opened the tournament earlier thinking it may not fill in time. 48 hours later, full.
I might write an application to make sign ups a better process but for now must do it manually.
No biggy, that is what happens when unexpected things occur. Since it is a first time one-of-a-kind tournament there is always going to be things to fix up. If there is something the players can do, let us know. Keep us updated
line me up some new opponents that are a bit more willing to play/login would be nice.
already had a agreed upon date come and pass and no response to forums PM's, like maybe some american opponents rather then this EU hermit stuff

Sigh team Warrior Nation hasn't heard a response from Swiss Fondue. Added them and sent an email and heard nothing back.
Still can't get a hold of either sadfish or anghkor, they haven't played any games on their accounts for 10+ days so they're basically never online.
Dates to play your game have been changed and the rules have been updated.
Check honcheats.com for full details Below are the new dates to which all games must be played.
Round 1: now - April 30th - 64 Teams
Filler round - May 1st - May 6th - All teams that didn't show will be replaced with the wait list.
Round 2: May 7th - May 12th - 32 Teams
Round 3: May 13th - May 18th - 16 Teams
Round 4: May 19th - May 23rd - 8 Teams
Semi-Finals: May 24th - May 27th - 4 Teams
Finals: May 27th - May 30th - Final 2
Should post the wait-list too if it isn't too much trouble, perhaps just on this forum.

can u set a cutoff time on april 30th where it is a show up or DQ situation if it is too much of a hassle to get the other team to login when you are avaliable and vice versa
example: must be online at 7pm PST and game replay/MatchID/results E-Mailed by midnight
have the team who is online at the time take screen shots with a /whois (other team) not being online after a certain amount of time (give em 15-20 mins to show up or so) and E-Mail the results
should be ez to line up replacement teams all at once at that point perhaps, dunno just a suggestion.

see this is where EU fails when trying to make demands on a tourney in which they are not the host country nor the host server.

Thecheeze is the host of the tourney and im sure will set a deadline requirement if needed, if he does not, well then i hope you are online at midnight Pacific Standard Time april 30th(8:00am GMT) cause if not you will forfeit, and believe me we will be online.
