Wow, so the brackets are going to have it so teams who deserve to make it farther into the rounds get knocked out first because of the teams they play and lesser teams who don't belong there are gonna make it to like the semis and finals? lol
It's gonna be weird to see some 1900 team vs 1600 rrated team for the finals
If you do the math, say if the very top teams always beat the bottom teams. semi finals should be rank 1, 2, 3 and 4. where doing it the way i have the finals will be 1, 2, 5, 6
so it wont be 1900 vs 1600 it will still be 1900 vs 1900. all i did was make the first round fair for the lower ratings.
again this is a new method i am trying and the math still works out for all interesting finals of high ranks. see for yourself

and i really really mean it that way, cause i can't take a 1600-1700 player/players srsly if they are in any kind of semi-finals/Finals, i mean come on this game really isn't that hard.
i take it you didn't read my post above.
So i hope you all understand now that we can still have round 1 the way it is and still have all 1900+ ratings for the semi finals as per normal.

From what I'm understanding it's just the first round that is like this, and from then on it will be like normal seeding.

Hunter_ you didnt read my post above. team 1 and team 2 don't play until the end as per normal. Round 1 is more fun and fair for every seed. Then it is normal play all the way through and semi finals will still be 1900 rated teams.

Cheese, if you plan on hosting another 2on2 tournament in June, maybe we should plan on moving up the Round 1 deadline by a week or two. It's almost 3 weeks away. If you do not move up the Round deadlines only sign-ups would occur in June, maybe Round 1 if we are lucky.
