Just like Booboo, Boris or even the Puzzlebox minions; I summon them once, bind them with Ctrl + a number and I'm done for the rest of the game. But with the Shadow it doesn't work :( I can bind it and it works as long as the Shadow is alive, but the next time I summon it I have to bind it again and it's annoying if I'm in a fight and I have to quickly order her to move (I know I can tab to her but I still find it weird that binding doesn't work. Plus I'd also like to bind them together in the same group and this requires me to "rectangle" them as I can't use tab for that).

Is it somehow possible? Things I would like is to expand my hero role comfort zone, positioning and game awareness. I have variable games, sometimes I'll be like a pro and sometimes I'll be a complete wreck. I'd like to contribute towards a win and not just be "carried".

Favorite heroes are Blacksmith, Warden, Glacius, Midas, Panda, Kraken, Bramble, Hag and Andromeda. The first 3 I feel I can play decently.

Whenever I try to play normal, I play bad. So I just want to stick to casual until I know I'm ready.

The problem is, I always have to solo queue, and I keep getting matched with teammates that are uncooperative (I am in 1300s..) and tend to NOT know when to concede (e.g. completely losing, hard carries fed) and there's always that ONE person on my team that doesn't want to cc..

Currently I have about 10 different videos on youtube but they all just showcase kill combos or epic games. Essentially fun to watch - but at the end of the day they are the rare matches that end well.

I'm posting here looking for suggestions - specifically: "What should I make in my videos to help players learn".

After making an alternate account and playing in a bit lower brackets I started to realize how much complexity this game has. HoN reminds me of an Iceburg. Give me a hero and explain how to play - and it's quite simple. Heck you can stay in your lane most of the game, and just follow your team around near the end and have fun. However there are lots of little tips that people might want to know about.

So please - what would you enjoy watching (and please specify your HoN experience when replying). I assume that someone who has played 50 games would want to see something different than someone who has played 1000 games.

First off, unlike Frostburn, it seems to be an endgame item unto itself. You could potentially split the thing into a FWS, Geo's, and a Grimoire, but that's probably prohibitively expensive and not a great idea anyway. If you're a carry and you have the cash to do that, there are probably other items that would serve you better. Some int heroes like Defiler and Soul Reaper could really benefit from a Frozen Light into FWS and Grimoire, but would have no use for the Firebrand.

So if you build a Dawnbringer, you probably intend to keep it as a Dawnbringer. Fair enough. So who is Dawnbringer good on? Well therein lies another problem. Given any hero you could build this on, there always seems to be one stat that is a bit wasted and doesn't really give you very much. For example lots of agi heroes make good use of Frostburn, but by the time they would farm up the Lightbrand, (presumably the lowest priority and therefore last component) they probably don't need the mana regen, and there are better farming tools out there if that's what they were going for.

So am I missing something? Is Dawnbringer any good?
