Missing Items in Guides Section

I know you guys have fixed it at SOME point, and it's been addressed, but it's just not working again and it's been this way for more than 10 days since it was last working (for a day or so). I just had to bring it up, it's quite annoying when I update my guides constantly.

This is more of a caution or warning than a suggestion, so please bear with me. Having worked with young people, I understand and am fully aware of the somewhat frightening impact a few sharp words can influence others. Bullying is quite commonplace in schools and online, but young people are far more effected by it than many of us may realize. The implications of this can be anything from depression, to suicide. I would just like to caution the moderators to keep this in mind when they see the 'friendly' banter that is happening online, which yes, many of us can deal with effectively. But hon is filled with a lot of young people who don't yet have the tools or self confidence to deal with these things. Thank you for a great game :)

Lack of attention to posts

There has been a post floating around for sometime now, regarding MM Servers in South Africa.In this post you can see that South Africans such as myself have been asking and asking S2Games to please allow South Africa to host MM servers, as currently we have an average ping of 240ms , this is only in Europe, now stated in the post was that Such ISP ISGaming and WAGE have the hardware to host such things, as currently they are successfully hosting DOTA 2 servers. Now I understand that staff cannot get to all the post at once, thus I am sad to say that this post has been around for a year and has not received a single explanation to why South Africa could or couldn't host such servers. Aquamarine name color

Is s2 able to fix the aquamarine name color in forums?
Everyone who purchased it is getting a default white color. Why is this happening?
And is s2 planning to fix it ?

Hi S2,

your website SUCKS.

I've been trying to obtain ANY INFORMATION about my accounts + subaccounts but it is simply impossible.

I get 404's all over the place, for example in the clan section > members > click my link, 404.

I just want to have a overview of my vault, what skins I own, how much Gold I already spent, what my subs are etc. Is that impossible?

Do I really have to download 1.1gb update to get SOME of that info? Reason I stopped playing is my connection so Id take up to a day to download all that. I just want to see everything. I've paid way more than 1k$ in this game so I can have some support PLEASE?!

Also its a ****ING SHAME that Account and Support both link to https://www.heroesofnewerth.com/supp...ustomerService. WHAT IS THIS ****. YOU CANT DO ANYTHING ON THIS ****ING WEBSITE. HOLY ****.

Phone payment problem

Hey guys, thought I'd post this here as a guide to anyone else who wants to do it. Also kind of a neat trick.

To anyone who's tried to make a hero guide recently via the guides section, you probably noticed the item database isn't up to date. This was a problem for me a little while ago when I wanted to make a guide with Lex Talionis. Lex isn't in whatever database the guides pull from yet, so there's no way to add it to a guide. Or is there?

Go ahead and right click on a guide page while in edit mode, then click inspect element. If you're using a modern browser, it should be easy to inspect the part of the page where the items are. For each item, you should see something like this:

So we have a backpack div containing an input for the item and the image for that item. Let's go ahead and edit that to what we want:

It'll show up as a broken image, which is fine. You don't actually have to change the image, as the backend is just using the top value (the input). Note that you're not actually editting the page, just your copy of it. Go ahead and hit save. Don't worry if you spelled the item wrong, it gets scrubbed so that'll just come out as blank. Bear in mind some items, such as puzzlebox, don't have the same name as the item name (puzzlebox is called Item_Summon).

And there you have it. You just stuck lex talionis in your hero guide. Test it out in game, the guide will load the item correctly. Is there an easier way to do this? I don't know, but this method worked just fine. I'm a guy who likes to use console commands to disconnect, quit, bind keys, etc, so this kind of thing is fun for me.

I have the game since the beginning and play it everyday but when I have some problem I cant reach the support and I am getting frustrated. Breaky recently said that the support is here for us to answer our questions 24/7. Well I can't see where is the support for me. I can't connect to matchmaking 7 out of 10 times and receive temporary banns due to this problem. I have allowed all the ports for my router and even disconnected the router. I turned off my firewall and my antivirus and still have the problem. When I write a ticket to the support it takes me automatically to the stupid answer - allow the ports ..... etc. How the hek can I fix this problem and most importantly to reach any support as I have payed for this game after all and I really enjoy it but I am waiting more than I am playing now. I really hope for ANY answer to my question and pray!!!

Multiple forum awards (forum suggestion)

A small suggestion I have for the forum: as it currently is, the forum only shows one of each award (except for the Dawnbringer award). As most of these awards (if not all) promote people who contribute to the game, I think it'll only promote more of this behavior by letting someone with e.g. two Alchemist's bones show off both and not just one.

(I had to check if my statement is actually true and according to Macrohard's forum account he only has one but I could find more than 3 implemented suggestions by him.)

Just a suggestion - For the items index on the site, maybe include the option to organize the items as they are seen in the shop in-game? This could help players better search by category and could help new players get more familiarity with the in-game shop while they look them up here on the site.

Edit: Yes, I know it was that way before. :P

So i have just got a new computer. but i have noticed something strange. For some reasen when i'm typing on the forum i can't create a new line by hitting the "Enter" button. On my old computer i can create a new line, but no matter how many i hit the enter button on my new computer, nothing happens. Does anyone how know to fix this and does it happen to other people?

Earlier it was possible to change to a sub account by just clicking it from a drop down menu but now this option is gone. Could it be re-added as it was a nice addition?
