I changed it up since this item went from a powerful summon item to moderate summon item with better stats.
:DancingBlade: + :WhisperingHelm: + :goldenshield:(250) = 5400
+25 damage
+30 AGI
+5 armor
+20% life leach
Summon Scimitar
Mana: 50
CD: 60
Summons a Scimitar for 30 seconds
HP: 1500
Mana: 300
Armor: 7
Damage: 45-45
Move speed: 400
Bounty: 80-99
Attack Speed: .9 (takes .9 seconds between attacks. So a fairly fast attack speed)
Scimitar has Chained Resolve, Flight, and Swirling attacks.
Chained Resolve- passive - When the controlling hero is attacked, there is 15% chance that on hit the Scimitar will swap places with the hero and become the new target for attacks and spells. The Possessed Scimitar cannot leave more than 1500 away from you.
mana: 150
CD: 10
Flight - passive - Can go anywhere.
Swirling attacks - passive - 20% chance to deal 75 physical damage in a 125 aoe.

Now this is just COOL. Recipe needs to cost at least twice as much for the added effect tho I think. Way too good for the price. T-up tho.

I don't know who would want to buy the first item but the second is an alternative satanic for agi-heros.
Maybe useful if they have enough hp already and better want more dam.
Summon is a nice addition + really good escape possibility. Maybe as good as pk if used well.
stating positive but not decided yet

First build is the only viable build if you ask me. Second build is totally of the chart and would make carries even more scarier.
About the summon, the scimitar in magic was normally used as a defensive item especially against "protection from" creatures. It was a niche artifact. So if you would play a solely white deck you knew that black knights were deadly against you so you inserted some of these.
What I am trying to say is that it would be better if the scimitar would be summoned around the hero that casted it and would deflect some damage (weapon only) and reflect it a bit.
I dislike high summon items. This is like a level 3 malphas on an item. No vote yet.

You're right that the second is too strong as it is now about the summon. I did'nt state that right, but as the lifeleech is at 17% there are 8% missing to satanic and the 150% leech buff is also missing.
so the recipe costs gotta be balanced + the summon tweaked and cd should also be considered of.
Coming to the first: Why would you want to build it and with which hero?
If i'd come to the situation getting a dancing blade (which would be later in game) i would prefer a wingbow with 30% evasion and stuff insted of another 15 int o.O that is negligible lategame

I think it would be a bit too imba for agility heroes..

Btw, just so you know, the idea of this item is to be a "pet" companion for AGI heroes.
Its basically there to help them with a little bonus damage, and give them some utility.
I think damage reflection might be a good idea instead of the position swap.

PS, the 1st item build was more for flavor than for the actual items. (Int book makes sword seem a little more demonic)

made it so the scimitar displacement now occurs on being attacked.
When swapping, the effect of the spell becomes "disjointed" like during a Valk Leap.

Officially changed this item to the life gain item for carries.
Increases life leach from 17% to 20%
Decreased Scimitar damage from 75-75 to 45-45
Decreased Swirling attack damage from 150 to 75 physical damage in a 125 aoe.
Completely changed displacement to Chained Resolve.

The fact that I said that version one was the only viable build was because the summon was incredible strong so the weakest combo of stats was justified. You balanced that a lot better now. I would even go further that the scimitar sticks to your hero in a 600 range. The blocking element is fun and with the toned down damage this a lot better right now.
Keep up the good work.

could be useful, but wouldnt a carry be better off making something that was more of a personal benefit to its own survival or damage. i like the idea of an alternative to satanic for a powerful agi lifesteal item, t-up

well, in terms of survival, this is basically a combat null stone.
When Chained resolve triggers, you are completely taken out of any dangerous situation, whether that be Panda's ultimate or an arachna auto attack.
So, the only other item that would provide this type of survivability would be geometer's bane or Assassin's cloak. Neither of these provide as much damage or Life leach :)
