This is our 1st hero suggestion made after many hours of work during class and in the library. All original artwork created by Fenrisulf. Hero ideas are the combined effort of the both of us and reviewed and edited first by The Legion Civilized. Vote always on concept and not on numbers, numbers and even skills can be changed, no votes are forever. Check out our other hero suggestions in the links in our signatures.

Story
The magnum opus of the Legion engineers, Magnum was built from the parts of the prototype Chronos warriors. As they searched for a new means of mechanical life, the enigma Andromeda came across their plight and offered a solution. She transported a strange shard of glowing crystal from her home dimension. With its addition, Magnum rose from his dreamless slumber with a whirring of gears and pumping of pistons. However, his strange otherworldly core gave him far more power than even his creators could have anticipated. Magnum gained a strange power over electromagnetism and gravity, and the power to freely dissemble and reassemble himself into any form he wishes.

Starting stats:
Agil 20 +2
Int 20 +2

Role
Role: Primarily plays a carry as the game progresses, but adapts to be different roles if a hard carry has already been picked. Plays decently as an int or str hero if absolutely needed, but really shines in carrying and anti-carrying due to his armor buffs and stat gain during his ultimate. Think Morphling mixed with Invoker...

An added note because of confusion: He can only fit every role for the first half of the game, later on, his abilities mainly move him towards the carry role. In other roles he is inferior to heroes who specialize completely in support or initiation etc. His str and int modes are there to give some variability and more early/mid game potential. Later on, most of the time in team battles he will be in ult form. He also has to be last hitting in the lane and he won't be able to buy pure support items without reducing his late game potential significantly. the advantage of his ultimate however is that he can buy carry items for any of three stats and disregard the stat they give because it will help him no matter what when he ults.

Note: This is not a Morphling port or even a semi-port. Don't compare Magnum like that :/

He can be anything you want to play him as; with his ult he gains the power to become a DPS monster, a tank, or an excellent support. You would build items around what role you want him to be and specialize in that role. He benefits the most from items that benefit all his stats, such as Frostwulf Skull, or something like Behemoth's Heart, which he can use by toggling the bonus it gives as he toggles his main stat. Items like Hellflower or Harkon's Blade, which are typically not gotten by most carries or intelligence heroes because they're not straight intel or agi items, are great for Magnum because he's always benefited by the stats he gets.

Hero Synergies

Works well with any hero due to his ability to play any role. Also has a heavy presence in late-game team fights because of his auras, which offer little help early on, but boost stats quite a lot later.
