Blood Elemental: By samh, Seraphim1337 and Jazzfunk92

Looks: Morphling, but more red and bloodish. Scarier, too.
Concept: Essentially, he's a semi-ranged strength ganker with a playstyle similar to SS. All of his abilities cost health instead of mana, thus his low intellect and high strength base and gain. In order for him to not be too much of a carry, he doesn't have much agi and only has a mediocre base attack damage. His images are pretty weak too and only attack heroes, so they arent useful for farming.
Background: Years before the Hellbourne invaded Newerth, a clan of cultists met and conducted a horrible ritual, in an attempt to summon one of their heathen gods to the material realm. Instead, their efforts brought forth a primordial being of immense power- the Blood Elemental. The cultists were promptly massacred by the being, which slept in their bodies until being awakened and enslaved by the Hellbourne.

Bloodbath: His attacks drench his enemies in his own blood, slowing and making them take inceased damage.
Passive 2/4/6/8% movespeed slow and 1/2/3/4% damage taken per charge. Max 10 charges. Lasts 5 seconds. Refreshes on each application. Classified as an Attack Modifier.

Chains of Blood: Sacrifices himself to create chains of blood binding the enemy to him.
Pulls all units in a 275 aoe to you for 1/1.5/2/2.5 seconds. Costs 5/7/9/11%.

Hemolysis: Whenever he sacrifices part of himself, he creates a copy of himself that attacks his enemies.
Everytime he casts a spell, creates an illusion that deals 20/25/30/35% damage and take 300% damage and inherits his orb. 2/2/3/3 max images.
Illusions attack the nearest enemy hero. 10 seconds.
Note: Images spawn where he casts his spells and attack the nearest hero until they die or disappear - like Undying's zombies, he doesnt have control over them.

Bloodstream: Blood Elemental converts himself completely into a liquid state, causing him to move at highspeeds through things, while also making him lose health.
Teleports to the target locations, at 1500/2000/2500 ms. Costs 10 + 5% hp initially and 15 + 1% for each additional 100 units. 15/10/5% minimium hp to use.

Synergies:
Bloodbath + Hemolysis: The primary purpose of the images, helps to apply the orb.
Chains of Blood + Hemolysis: Images attack the opponents while they are being held down, allowing you to apply orb and get more damage in.
Chains of Blood + Bloodstream: Bloodstream of course allows you to place chains more effectively, and also turns him into a semi-initiator at higher levels.
