Its odd that the only piece of information available in the waiting lobby is missing when you pull up the someone's stats specifically.
In addition to the incongruity, including the PSR would allow people to check the PSR of players who are still loading the game while in the lobby, which could save time if game is designated only for players above a certain PSR (I imagine that eventually host's might be able to actually set this themselves).
