Parasitic Mushroom
Back story:
The ancient parasitic mushroom goes by no name, but of the little that is known of it, one can surely say that it is evil to the core. Although it may seem that the mushroom has fully taken over its host, this is a wrong assumption, the host is still there and will always fight the parasite's influence, doing its best to prevent the evil that is being done with its flesh.
Voice:
Should be a deep gurgling voice, but now and then interrupted by a higher pitched voice saying something like:"WHAT AM I DOING?".
Visuals:
Think of a human warrior that has been taken over by a parasitic mushroom (http://i.ytimg.com/vi/80Py5YxBjmE/0.jpg), leaving one half of its body seemingly unscathed, but the other mutated and horrible with mushrooms growing all over. His walk animation should be uneven unnatural and highly uncomfortable. His attack animation will be with the sword.
This is a concept drawing, but its quite bad.

Resist Influence(Active):
The host tries to rid itself of the mushrooms evil influence, flailing wildly at itself with his sword, cutting off several mushrooms in the process.
Drops 4 mushrooms on the ground each 0.5 second for 2 seconds. The mushrooms will linger on the ground for 0.25 seconds before exploding.
Explode(Triggered by Resist Influence):
Deals 15/30/50/75 magic damage, slows for 10/20/30/40% for 1 second in a 250 AREA.
Visual effect should be a mushroom falling to the ground, quickly growing and finally bursting.
Jab!(Passive):
The Parasite is slow to react when it comes to battle, most of it comes from its host natural reflexes, but when the parasite catches on, it deals massive damage with the hosts mutated limb.
You gain 1 charge every time you hit something, charges will diminish if you don't hit stuff for 10 seconds, at 5 charges the passive effect will fire, causing all charges to be removed.
Passive effect (at 5 charges): Deals +10/15/20/25% bonus damage, knocking the target down and mini-stunning it for 0.25 seconds.
Visual effect should be a powerful jab with its left arm (the mutated one).
Fling Mushroom(Active, Target):
Flings a mushroom at the target, causing it to run in circles for 1/1.5/2/3 seconds, attacking enemy units in a 250 AOE if there are any.
Mana Cost 100/90/80/70, cooldown 24/22/20/18 seconds.
Range 600, cast time instant.
Basically very similiar to puppet show, cept that the enemy unit will not hit friendly units and that it will just run in "circles" if there are no enemies nearby.
Oh what a magical garden! (Ultimate. Active):
Creates a purple\green\cyan\pink garden of putrid flowers and plants that slows any enemy units attack and movement speed by 30/40/50% and increases friendly units attack and casting speed by 10/20/30%.
The garden persists for 2/3/4 seconds, AOE 500/600/700.
Cast Time ~instant, mana cost 150/200/250.
Item build / playing style:
I'd say you could either play this hero as a melee pubstomping powerhouse, using its passive proc to the fullest. Or you could play a more supportive spell focused way with a :Portalkey: and something like a :FrostfieldPlate:. Tanking wouldnt work that well I'd say.
Ganking should be quite cool, use Fling Mushroom to stop a target, go close to it and use Resist Influence.
