Dota has more heroes, thus it's no surprise they have more female heroes.

I'd be more concerned about why you consider Moon Queen female (other then the associated name) since I'd say she was so insect I'd not like to think about that... :P

Edit: Forgot about Spider Girl-Arachna and Death Banshee-Defiler (or KROB).

And, as an psuedo-on-topic point, the game needs more characters period. I am tired of playing back to back matches of different types, (that isn't all pick) only to see Devourer being picked eight out of ten matches. Its ridiculous to some extent. =/

Also, if you look closely, she is not a "female spider". If anything, she looks more like a woman wearing armor designed to look spider like. Her stomach and half her chest is clearly exposed and looks just like a normal humans. Her spider parts seriously look just like she is wearing armor.

She stretches when idling and you can check it pretty well indeed.

Her head seems to be spiderish thou (but that could be a helmet), she doesn't have a voice so we can't tell yet.

You're missing Pestilence, who is obviously female. Males don't spawn a bajillion youth for 50 mana every few seconds last time I checked, that's a woman's job.

It's not that much about leering at ladies (although that is nice, even though they are digital), but the thread title says it all - why shoul'd it be a sausage fest?

I don't get why games have tendency towards including only men, Doom 3 is just one game that poppes up, 1 female - and that was in the expansion!

Arachna is obviously a female, but not a desirable one.
By the way, her Character Design is a bit flawed, compared to her skills: with legs like that, she should be able to jump-leap, and she actually has no use of her six other members.
