Up until yesterday I thought it was hard to see how much longer my buffs/debuffs were going to last. Then, I noticed that in the top-left corner, under your portrait, the border of the buff/debuff works like a clock until it's over. The icons above the character information in the HUD/bar doesn't have this feature, but it'd be great if they did.
