Monk of dl’Reshk
The Monks of dl’Reshk are a mysterious group who live and train in the mountains above the Capital City of the Legion. Very little is know about the monks themselves, and even less about their ancient martial art, which hones the mind into a weapon far more powerful than any sword. The Legion and the monks have come to an uneasy accord; The Legion leaves the monks to govern themselves, and the monks send warriors in times of dire need. The threat of the Hellborne has become too great for the world-wary monks to ignore any longer, and thus sent one of their most promising acolytes to wage war against the Hellborne. Trained well in the ways of mental combat, Pashep will bring his powerful intellect to bear on any unfortunate enough to stand in his way.

Darts of the Broken Being
Pashep forces a jolt of destructive mental force directly into an opponent, disorienting the enemy and attacking his mind. The meeting of minds creates a Mind Link between the two. Pashep can force pain through this conduit, harming the enemy if he himself is harmed. Additionally, Pashep, if given enough time, can combine the effects of these minor jolts, paining his opponent even more.

Explanation
Single Target Nuke

Costs 20/30/40/50 mana

5 sec cooldown on all levels

25/40/55/70 Nullfire Damage (Does damage and takes mana away)

Disorients Opponent for .5 seconds

The effect I had in mind for this would be similar to the Shaman’s mind fracture spell in S2 (where it distorts and shakes the screen) but obviously much less significant because of the 5 second cooldown and short duration. Maybe just a small amount of screen shakage (We do not want to make the spell obnoxious). It would not interrupt channeling or reset movement commands.

Places Mindlink Buff on enemy

An enemy with the Mindlink buff takes 5% of the damage Pashep takes. The buffs stack a maximum of 4 times (20% damage reflected) and last for 15 seconds each. If you were to just use Darts you would only be able to get a consistent 10% damage share on 1 hero. Mindlink can only affect heroes.

Can stack 0/2/3/4 times

When Pashep does not cast Darts, the effects of Darts of the Broken Being cumulate every 5 seconds (the cooldown of Darts). When he waits the appropriate amount of time (0/10/15/20 seconds) and achieves a full stack (0/2/3/4), Darts of the Broken Being becomes Javelin of the Broken Being, and gains an additional ministun and increases the magnitude of the disorientation (screen shakage). The mana cost also cumulatively stacks. For example, Pashep is level 3 and he has level 2 Darts. If he does not cast any spells for 10 seconds, the Dart icon in his spell bar will be replaced with a Javelin icon, and when he casts that it will cost 60 mana, deal 40x2 (80) mana burn damage, have a .1 ministun, have a significant screen shakage for 1 second and place 2 Mindlink buffs on the target. Another example is a level 7 Pashep with level 4 Darts. He waits 15 seconds, has 3 Darts stacked and casts it. He will deal 70x3 (210) mana burn damage and minorly disorient the opponent for 1.5 seconds, without the ministun. The max for this spell is: 200 mana cost, 4x70 (280) mana burn damage, a .1 ministun and 2 seconds of significant screen shakage, but that is only if Pashep waits a full 20 seconds.

Eye of the Storm
Pashep calms his mind, gathers inert energy and expels it in an area around him, dispelling the effects of magic under its influence. A bubble of null energy will expand around Pashep, reach a certain distance, and then contract. Any enemy that comes under the influence of the orb will be silenced for 2 seconds upon exiting.

Explanation
AOE – Nova type spell

Non-Channeling

Costs 80/100/120/140 mana

Takes 25 seconds to cooldown at each level

Will expand to 300/350/400/450 radius and contract around Pashep over 3/3.75/4.5/5.25 seconds

Applies 1/1/2/2 Mindlink Buffs on all enemy heroes it comes into contact with

Basically, a slow nova-like wave will extend from Pashep, cancelling any spells it touches. For example, if Pashep met a wall created by Behemoth he could cast this spell and the wall would disappear wherever the wave touched. If Pyromancer cast his firebird spell it would disappear as soon as it touched the nova. Same with Hammerstorm’s hammer throw. Slither’s toxin wards. This would essentially make Pashep, and any allies under the radius, magic immune for the duration of the spell. It would also silence any enemies caught under the orb after they get out of it. Now before you scream “Imba!” remember that numbers can be changed, and that the radius is very small (it will be shrinking the same amount of time it will be expanding, and it will only ever be 450 units big) so he really won’t be able to hide a lot of allies or silence a lot of enemies, the duration is quite short and the cooldown is quite long. I do not think it should affect the majority of ults like black hole (unless Tempest gets silenced), Hellbringer’s Malph summon, Slither’s Poison Nova, Tree’s Root, etc. But it should be able to protect you from Moon *****’s Ult (its only her regular nuke x4), minor DoTs, nukes, snares, and stuns. Anybody under the influence will be able to be targeted, but they will take no damage, not get stunned or slowed. They can still be attacked physically, however.

Remembrance
Pashep enters a state of meditation and focuses on a memory that gives him great joy. Through his psychic mastery, Pashep is able to use that joy to mend broken limbs and heal festering wounds, as well as refresh his mind. If necessary, Pashep is able to draw upon the lifeforce of those he has a Mindlink with, further increasing his regeneration. Castable while under Eye of the Storm.

Explanation
Channeling Self-Heal

Costs 100 mana at all levels

20 second cooldown at all levels

Channel for 6/5.5/5/4.5 seconds

Regenerates 15/20/25/30% Max HP and 5/10/15/20% Max MP over the channeling period

Gains additional ability:

Drain the Dirty
While Pashep is in meditation, he can choose to draw lifeforce out of his enemies through the Mindlinks he has created. He feels this vitality at the end of the meditation. This process also severs the Mindlink. The drained become tired and move a little slower.
Regenerates an additional 5% Max HP and 3% MP per Mindlink, capped at 20% Max HP and 15% Max MP

Slows the enemies with Mindlink by 15% (AS and MS). Does not matter how many buffs there are on the enemy hero.

Basically Pashep casts the spell, begins channeling for 6/5.5/5/4.5 and regenerates 15/20/25/30% Max HP and 5/10/15/20% Max MP over that period. If he wants he can essentially “eat” the mindlink buffs for additional burst of regen at when the channeling finishes or the spell is stopped. This of course dispels the buffs and the enemy hero no longer shares your damage. If the spell is stopped early, the inherent regen stops with it. Meaning if he gets stunned at the beginning of the spell, he won’t regen at all unless he decided to eat the mindlink buffs. He can choose to “eat” the buffs at the beginning of the channeling, but the buffs won’t be destroyed and the HP/MP will not be gained until after the spell has finished, whether from a stun or Pashep moving and canceling the spell. This is cool because you have to choose what you want to do with the Mindlink buffs, you can keep them on the enemy hero for the reflected damage, or you can heal yourself and give them a minor slow. Also, if you think you are gonna get stunned as soon as you start the spell, you can hit Drain the Dirty and still get the mindlink regen, even if you lose out on the other.

Ultimate
Way of the Two Leaves

Pashep, through intense concentration, is able to split his corporeal and mental forms into two distinct entities. His physical form can’t move, cast or attack because it is concentrating so fiercely on the spell. His psychic form can move and cast, but can not attack either. His ethereal form is able to walk right through trees and other physical forms, is immune to physical damage, as well as gaining a small speedboost. His corporeal form, because his true being is no longer there, is able to resist all forms of magic damage. Damage taken by one of the entities is fully reflected to the other. Also, damage taken by either is still reflected to enemy heroes with the Mindlink buff. Pashep is able to reform the two entities at either the psychic form’s location or his corporeal body. Pashep can hold the connection between his two selves only if they do not stray too far from each other. If his ethereal form should stray too far from his body, the two are immediately reunited at the psychic projection’s location. Any corporal form he touches while ethereal will be affected by the Mindlink buff (remember only heroes can have the mindlink buff.)

Costs 150/250/350 mana

Lasts 15/20/25 seconds

Cooldown 90/75/60 seconds

Ethereal form can only travel 1000/1500/2000 units away from his body. Kinda like Puck’s Ultimate in DoTA

Tell me what you think. I know most of you won't even read this wall of text, but I think this hero is great. Fun, interesting, original, dripping with synergy and has a unique playstyle.

I really like the concept and lore of the hero, as well as his utility. In my opinion, the game could use another magic countering hero.

I also like this hero idea. I'm a bit concerned that his second and third abilities might need to be tweaked a bit, or at least have their numbers altered.

I also think the ethereal form of his ult could have some sort of spellcasting abilities or something like that to make it more interesting.

This is really good, though, I must say.

Very nice idea, good early game work, with a nice heal to prevent you needing to run back to the fountain, interesting abilities.

Very impressive tbh.

Yeah, thanks. I I like him too. I think im going to rework him when I get to work tomorrow. I'm a fan of it because you could harrass them down with the darts then when he has the full mindlink buffs you could sit in their tower and hit your heal while he runs back to base, taking 20% of the tower's damage.
