Tentacle Thrust

Channeled, Vector Targeted
Description - Octobeast thrusts his tentacles into the ground and cannot move. They emerge one after the other in the targeted area and direction, grabbing any nearby enemies and immobilizing them. Damages for 125/150/175/200, holds for 2/2.5/3/3.5 seconds and affected enemies become Inked. Tentacles provide clearvision in a 600 radius. Octobeast may burrow through the ground, appearing at the location of his last tentacle. Range 1000/1100/1200/1300.
[How it works] - There should be a number of tentacles that appear in the span of about ~2-3 seconds. Similar to deadwood's root, but it's channeling and the AOE is more like a line than a circular area.
[Uses] - This is the most complicated spell. It's his main initiation/ganking tool as it provides damage, a stun, and a pseudo-blink. Also provides a very situational escape mechanism and is good for getting vision behind towers. OK for chasing b/c you can cast it at long range and if you aim the direction right can blink to where they are running. Overall versatile spell.
[Visual] - Octobeast thrusts his tentacles in the ground and they reappear at the target location and wrap around enemies. They're all wavy and animated with suction thingies on them.
- High range and blink effect balanced out by the fact that it's channeling. Also, the blink is predictable since it always goes to the last tentacle and can only be used at the end of the duration. (The blink can occur while enemies are still held, just not until after the last tentacle appears).
Mana Cost : 110/120/135/160
Cooldown : 17 seconds

Active, Uses Charges, Small AOE
Description - Octobeast shoots a jet of ink at a target location, applying Inked to all enemy units and buildings affected by it. Inked gives a 10%/12%/14%/16% chance to miss per charge and a 3%/5%/7%/9% movespeed reduction per charge. Inked lasts 4 seconds. 1 charge is recovered every 6 seconds.
Level 1 - 3 max charges
Level 2 - 4 max charges
Level 3 - 5 max charges
Level 4 - 6 max charges
[How it works] - Octobeast will shoot an ink "puddle" that will remain in an area (very small, probably about 75? AOE) that will put an Inked charge on the enemy unit if cast on top of him or if he walks through it. Think of it as a weaker armadon snot with a small AOE that's only good in bursts, not for prolonged chasing.
[Uses] - Chasing, tower pushing (miss % on buildings), anti-carry skill
[Visual] - Ink squirt (lol). Maybe invis units leave ink footprints behind?
[Balance] - Relatively weak slow with a shorter duration than the recharge time. Only good for bursts, not for prolonged chases. Gives mana battery charges as well.
Mana Cost : 15
Cooldown: 0 seconds (think slither's wards)

Description - Gives 12%/17%/24%/30% stun resistance and 10%/15%/20%/25% slow resistance to all allies in a 900 AOE.
[How it works] - I don't think stun resistance is even a real thing, I just made it up. Basically it means that a 3.5 second hex would last 2.45 seconds, if this ability was level 4. Could work on silences, stuns, etc.
[Visual] - Some kind of soothing-looking watery aura
[Balance] - Kind of weak early, but pretty powerful in teamfights.

Description - Octobeast stretches out his tentacles, grabbing all Inked units within a 500 AOE and pulling them towards him slowly for 2/2.5/3 seconds. Affected enemies lose 30/40/50 health per second per Inked charge. Casting Suction will refill Octobeast's Ink Squirt charges.
[How it works] - Kind of a weaker tempest ult in that only Inked units are affected and the damage is quite poor. The ult refills his ink charges just like Zephyr's cyclones.
[Visual] - Tentacles grow really long and wrap around enemies
[Balance] - Low damage, somewhat high cooldown and mana cost
Cooldown - 85 seconds
Mana Cost - 150/175/225
