Well, let me just start by saying this is just a concept I had written down, I don't care about winning a contest or even getting this dude implemented. However, if it gives you guys some new ideas and improves the game - why not.

That being said, it's not specific, and I didn't bother with pictures that won't be used anyway. It's about new abilities. Numbers you can fill in the blank yourself with what would fit, otherwise it would just be arbitrary.



Let me first say that the premise for this is just a big ****ing dude with full plate mail and a huge shield / halbred with a helmet with horns, because that's just way too cool. Armor is red btw. No faggot armor like maliken or ooo im so nice like jeraziah, or non badass armor like accursed. Think Gregor in a song of ice and fire, 9 foot 400lb monster. Granted this is off the top of my head, but it would incorporate some new abilities rather then same old. High armor, high str gain. Primary premise being longevity via drain like abilities. Think late game zephyr style play with a different skill set.

1) "Shield" ala: the WoW skill. Pick a target and you absorb % of all incoming damage on that target. You take damage as they would (stacking tank items on yourself wont alleviate any more damage, that way if you were protecting say, a fragile magebane that was getting focused, you'd get whipped like he would - but could buy him time to rape face) skill will not kill you and can be unactivated at any time. When used on self, reduces damage taken 50% and attack speed 50%, or something along those lines.

2) Targetted AE HP drain, temporarily reduces MAX health (3000hp to 2400hp lets say, but if the target has 2200 of 3000, it will still only reduce to 2400) targets hit by HP drain including stealth targets are revealed up to 1200 (or whatever) range. Would be iirc the first build in anti stealth ability I can think of, which is a nice counter pick to some setups.

3) I'm torn on this one, but the premise is a built in ability that makes you not ignore him. I was thinking perhaps either every x seconds targets are within x range they are stunned for 1 second. However, I was also thinking that a built in mock of brilliance style ability, some kind of radiance, however - give it synergy with ability two and make it toggle on / off for creeps so you dont push lanes. For example, level 4 grants, say 15 DPS all around you - similar to soul reapers aura. However, for every target hit by his AE HP drain that stays within 1200 range, it grant 10 more DPS - so if he hits whole team, he has 65 dps (or whatever) to everything around him , enough that forces a focus on him or a retreat past 1200 range for the reset.

Ultimate) In line with his staying power and team drain abilities, some kind of continual stat drain. For example, .2 to each stat to every character around him per second, which is , in turn added to his base stats as he absorbs their essence. So if its a team fight, he will gain +1 agi / str/ int per second, numbers can be adjusted obviously.

Or, my other idea is -1 primary stat per second (str lose str int , int etc) to all characters in range with no absorption.

Either ultimate , in conjunction with his ability to shield others, and self and lifedrain + mock make him a long term threat in any team situation. His damage output and negative effect on the opposing team both grow with time.
