I would like to see shop grouping in Hon, in dota i liked to group shop so I can buy fast, especially useful when u know you are going to get killed and wanna buy something fast before you lose money. In HoN I have to click on minimap then on shop and then fast find items I want, even if I'm not getting killed it still takes a bit of time.

+1 AND why do yo have hack and slash seperated? - i mean. slash (or hack) is in initiation, while the other is in morph attack or something.

Frankly, I think that the shop layout is much more logical then the layout in DoTA, for most of the items, not all of them, but most, and hence, imo, it is better then that in DoTA. This is a new game, I don't think that everything should be the same as in DoTA, it would defeat the purpose of it...and anyways, I think that the current shop groupings is more new user friendly then that in DoTA, which will help the newer members who haven't played DoTA.
It's a new game, people should get used to it instead of wanting everything to be the same as it was in DoTA.
And about the hack and slash, it doesn't seem to be a problem since unlike in DoTA, you can get the link to the components by clicking on the hack and slash icon. EDIT: Slash doesn't modify your attack, so it wouldn't exactly fit in under the morph attacks section either.
