I though it could be awesome since the game saves all your stats you can have trophies (awarded at the end of each match) and medals (awarded from the total of your stats)

Maybe somebody has posted something similar, i know this isn't any original, but it can boost the time you will play this game

These will just encourage stat-whoring even more, as people try to collect more and more trophies.

I like the idea. I'm thinking something like the achievement system where people can see you accomplishments. This way nobody will stat-whore but it gives you bragging points if say you got an entire team kill as nymph or something.

trophies and achievements have always been fun and exciting to receive, but definitely some people will disagree with this.

How about you get trophies at the end of a match for doing something fun, but is isnt saved onto your permanent record? That way it remains what it should be - for fun and nothing else.

Yeah, something along the lines of

'Biggest Feeder - Died for a total of X Gold'
'Hero killer - Killed X enemy heroes'

yea, trophies that you just earn on games, and medals that you get for your stats page for achievements.

Post your trophy/medal ideas, this could be fun.

Mine could be
Trophy: "Lone Wolf" - most kills made alone
