http://honwiki.net/w/images/2/2a/Behemothhero.gif (http://honwiki.net/wiki/Behemoth) Behemoth (http://honwiki.net/wiki/Behemoth) is a Stunner (http://honwiki.net/wiki/Hero_Classifications) and a Support (http://honwiki.net/wiki/Hero_Classifications) support hero. He really shines in team fights when he can use Portal Key (http://honwiki.net/wiki/Portal_Key) to blink into the middle of the enemy team and use Shockwave (http://honwiki.net/wiki/Behemoth) to wreck them. He can also use Fissure (http://honwiki.net/wiki/Behemoth) to stop heros from getting away or chasing by blocking a whole lane. By: Drasha

Skill Build
There are many ways to build behemoth i have listed the 3 most common ways to build him some being more common then others. You should go with the basic build if you have never played him before and want to get a good feel for what all of his abilitys do. The Advanced build focuses more on being skilled with fissure and making you do a lot more damage in team fights right when you get shockwave. The stats build is for roaming and works well with a bottle just there so you know its an option.
Basic
Basic is where you focus on fissure and level up Heavyweight after that. This build gives you a strong nuke that deals good damage and has a nice range its the best when your still getting a feel for the behemoth.
Advanced
The second focuses on leveling up Heavyweight first to give your self a good stun with enrage and more AoE damage with Shockwave. This build is for when you have got the hand of the behemoth and can use fissure to block heros from escaping.
Stats
Focuses stats and fissure over every thing else to make you a stronger presence early game but takes you more levels to do as much damage in team fights. Great if you have a bottle and are going to be roaming the map early to help get hero kills.

Shrunken Head
Good for making sure you get your ultimate off. Magic immunity (http://honwiki.net/wiki/Magic_immunity) to make sure you don't get stunned or killed. Also great for an escape after jumping in the middle of the hornets nest.
Gameplay
First lets cover what fissure can be used for. Fissure works well as a ranged nuke you can use it to kill heroes who are running away if no one on your team can get to them. Fissure can be used to block of lanes trapping a hero on your side of the lane or on the other side so he can't hurt you or a fleeing hero. Fissure can be used as an 8 second hold if you trap a hero between it and the forest or a cliff with a hero blocking the only way out. Fissure is also good for breaking up the other team so your team can pick of every one on one side of the fissure while the other enemy heroes can't get to you? The second thing we need to talk about is how you use your ult since this will be the main factor in how good you are with behemoth? When you are looking at a group of enemy heros and wondering if you should blink in you need to ask your self some questions. One are their a lot of enemy creeps around their team to make your ult do as much damage as possible. Two how long before another wave of creeps get to where they are and is it worth waiting for them (creep waves spawn every 30 seconds). Three once you have blinked in what is the best direction to use your fissure to block an important member of their team from helping the weaker ones or preventing the soft heroes from getting away? Fourth what is your plan of escape once you have used all of your spells to chain stun them its always good to have one even if you are pretty sure they are all going to die after the first 4 seconds of combat. It is important to use all of your spells after Shockwave because you will do a lot of additional damage with heavyweight.
Early Game
You're pretty weak at the start of the game and you want to do your best to stay alive make sure you use Fissure (http://honwiki.net/wiki/Behemoth) defensively or to prevent them getting away from your teams gank. Your focus should be hanging around the creeps getting last-hits (http://honwiki.net/wiki/Last-hit) if its safe. Feel free to roam around the map to help other lanes get hero kills the is pretty effective if you picked the bottle as you starting item.
Mid Game
You should have your 2 bracers by now or your 2 talisman and be working towards a Portal Key (http://honwiki.net/wiki/Portal_Key). If you're having trouble getting gold in lane you can forest by using Enrage (http://honwiki.net/wiki/Behemoth) for aoe damage or you can switch lanes with some one else. Once you have your Portal Key (http://honwiki.net/wiki/Portal_Key) just look for groups of heroes who are bunched up blink in and use Shockwave (http://honwiki.net/wiki/Behemoth) as well as your other spells. It's a good idea to do this with allies near by to come in and kill them after you ult. Try to do it around as many creeps as possible to increase the damage. Also make sure you upgrade your boots to Enhanced Marchers (http://honwiki.net/wiki/Enhanced_Marchers) or Posthaste (http://honwiki.net/wiki/Posthaste); they both have their ups and downs. You can also grab your Ring of Sorcery (http://honwiki.net/wiki/Ring_of_Sorcery) to give you all the extra mana you need. The ring really makes it so you don't have to worry as much about mana and it's cheap. You can ignore the ring if your bottle provides enough mana regeneration.
Late Game
You're still pretty much just a giant cannon ball but you can start working on items to help you survive being hit by every thing the enemy has after you blink. Don't count out Shaman's Headdress (http://honwiki.net/wiki/Shaman%27s_Headdress) its a very good item to grab if the other team is nuke heavy. If you end up getting all of these items or you just feel like it grab a Restoration Stone (http://honwiki.net/wiki/Restoration_Stone) to double ult for the heck of it. Also buy wards know whats on the map is vary important even in pub games.
Wrap Up
Behemoth (http://honwiki.net/wiki/Behemoth) can be very hard to play but once you get good at using Fissure (http://honwiki.net/wiki/Behemoth) he becomes deadly. As always have fun with this hero and once you get the basics down; experiment. There is never only one way to play a hero well.

If you're against a nuke-heavy team, this can greatly help survivability.
