View Full Version : Moon Queen's Ult (not a complaint)
Is Moon Queens ultimate stoppable once it begins? I was playing Pollywog earlier and used chains while she was using her ultimate and it didn't stop it. His chain has a silence. Just wanted to know :)
Only way for it to stop is for it to finish or to kill the Moon Queen.
You can't stop it, even if MQ dies... At least that's in DotA, don't think they would change it here!

In HoN if moonqueen dies the ulti stops
In DotA if Luna dies the ulti continues
I think this was a flaw in the engine and the way the ulti was generated (using dummy objects I believe)
Silencing moonqueen will not stop the ulti from finishing
I think they changed it in DotA too now IIRC.
This way it's better, if she dies the ulty stops.

Rather than clutter up the board with a new thread, I'll ask here: Is Moon Queen's ability to pop her ult, then Assassin's Shroud, and continue firing off the ult without coming out of invis working as intended(i.e. as in DotA)?

I like ulti stopping on death, adds a bit of thought to it rather than guaranteed sending to a graveyard even if ya got owned.

Dunno if it has changed but Linken's Sphere in DotA would duck over Luna's ulti.
Also, her Moon Queen's ult does not hit invisible heroes. Is this intended or a bug?
It's intended. If a hero can't be hit by a Moon Beam then it can't be hit by her Ulti.

The ultimate generates several moonbeams, with no cast required by her. Think of it as this evil little thing on her shoulder firing moonbeams while she does other things. She can attack, cast spells, use items (such as assasins shroud). If this evil little critter can't see the heroes, they can't be hit by moonbeams. If she dies, the critter dies too. This has also been changed in dota for luna's ult to end on death.
If you silence moonqueen, you aren't silencing the little **** on her shoulder, so it just keeps going and going.
