:Insanitarius:Insanitarius(2850) + :RefreshingOrnament:Refreshing Oranment(603) + :MightyBlade:Mighty Blade(1000) + 1000
Once worn by a tribute to the dark gods of the fiery hells of Newerth, it is now enchanted with the power to receive pain from the wielder's environment.
Passives:
+5 armor
+10 damage
+5 to all stats
+10 strength
Sacrifice (active)
Sacrifice: (10 second cooldown)
While this is active:
deals 2% of max HP to self per second (works like Insanitarius)
+15 attack speed
+35 damage
+30 strength
Adds "Sacrificial Aura" at 500 radius
6 HP regeneration
+10 attack speed
Wielder of gauntlet takes in 35% of the damage received by allied heroes around him (500 radius), Sacrifice is automatically turned off when wielder has below 100 HP left. (damage received is magic, is affected by any type of spell immunity except spell immunity provided by Shrunken Head.)

Define "not enough" is it dead? does it auto de-activate at a low percentage or health value?

Only heroes I see this item working for are ones such as Accursed (ultimate, shield, etc), Armadon (quills) and Electrician (shield). Others would just get ripped to shreds. The passive stats on the item aren't that impressive either for an item that costs 5000.
What damage type does the holder take? Physical/Magic/True?

i can't think of any hero that can take that much damage except accursed. Maybe if you made it magic damage to user, and had the sacrifice deal more damage over time ... at least then it will have nice synergy with headdress.

Hey, thanks for comment, do you think this item should stack with shrunken head? Saving allies 50% of damage received with no negative effect, I want your opinion, thanks :P

not a bad idea but is it possible that the wielder takes dmg for the allies (say polly is hit 100 with no armor, you take an amount of dmg and that amount is subtracted from what polly takes) and just increase the cost a bit? would be interesting...

the price but I'm not sure what you mean by "Wielder of gauntlet takes in 50% of the damage received by allied heroes around him (500 radius)", do you mean the wielder is 1) taking the dmg in place of the ally or 2) is he just taking 50% of the dmg that the ally already took? because if it's the 2nd way I think you should switch it to the first way and bump up the price, otherwise just bump up the price.

probably should be more expensive, I mean think if u were *insert super tanky hero here - let's say :elec: because of his mana shield* and he get this item with a HotBL, a Behemoth Heart, nome's wisdom, and token of life (yes this is farm-able in :elec: sadly enough)...
I do like what you did there with the 2% max health tho
(maybe bump price to 5503?)

as far as stacking with shrunken head goes, I'm not quite sure. That would be a very expensive item set, that's for sure, but 50% damage reduction for allies would be pretty beefy. My gut feeling says that 50% is a little too much in general. I think that 40 or 35% might be more fair, especially considering the combo with shrunken head. I'm not a balance guru or anything, so don't take me too seriously. Just my feeling. T-UP still.

You and your team get hit with the 2 Pyro nukes, yes your full team.
This might be rather unusual but anyway:
260*2=520 (260 Damage each)
520-520/4 (Magic armor reduction (25%))
390 damage to all your teammates. (4)
4*390=1560/2=780 (you "only" take 50% of the damage)
780+390=1170 (you will recieve the 390 true damage anyhow)
Thats the damage you will recieve from those 2 nukes (true damage)
Just for two nukes. That is huge!
Lets just say in a team fight where you get caught in Tempest's ulti with 3
other players you are just going to die. Compared with Barrier Idol, its
inferior. Maybe at something like reduces this absorbed damage by X*10 %
where X is the number of teammates in Aura range.
I hope i understood your concept right, but if i did, it cant stay like this...

Hey hey, thought about it, that's why it stacks with barrier and spell immunity (except spell immunity provided by shrunken head,)... I pretty much decreased the damage absorb value so that it will not be too overpowered when used by predator/jeraziah/others with spell immunity, i dont know if there are any more... thanks for comment :)

I can't decide if it's a good item...most heroes wouldn't afford the damage it gives. But if magic immunity can be used on it, then a team with heroes like Jeraziah and Predator using it would be super hard to kill (not to mention Jeraziah already have Sol's blessing)...and it would make the game really unfair.
I would say...maybe not make it work for magic immunity, but decrease the damage the user would take? I'm still a noob though so I can't really make good suggestions XD

I really like the idea behind this item, but I have to say - I don't really understand why insanitarius is used. The goal of this item is to be able to tank for not only yourself, but the whole team. The damage and attack speed buff (not to mention the 2% max health per second damage) are attributes that don't contribute a whole lot to tanking.
Like I said, I really like what you're bringing to the table with this item, I'm just sure about the insanitarius being the core ingredient.

What would happen if a hero around him recieves a High Damage source that would make the weilder of the Gauntlet die?
I mean if one of his allies recieves like a 1200 damage blast (Puppet's Ulti, for example), and the weilder already has like 120hp. The demage he would recieve would kill him before his HP drops below 100.
If the question has been answered already, sorry for that.
But I kinda like the idea. But you'd have to be a mega tank support to recieve that much damage.

You should increase the stats gain passively.
but the idea is awesome because its a really good item for str supporters and the heroes who are supposed to be tanks.
a thing hon really needs are tanks. this item can turn most str heroes into tanks as they are supposed to be even though they arent attacked.
