This is a little hard explaining, but say you are at the side shop, and you buy a TP, or a dagger or anything else that can be found in the main shop - but you don't buy it under the outpost shop - it should still go to your inventory and not your stash.
So say I am at the side shop, and I buy a TP stone - not under the Outpost tab, but under the supply tab. The contemporary system puts the stone into my stash, but since the TP stone is an item indeed available at the outpost shop, it should go directly into my inventory and not my stash.
Oh, and sorry, wrong section.
Why can't you just buy it from the right shop pane instead of making more work for the devs?

Well then, if you're not having problems selecting the correct shop, what's the point of making a thread about it? Will it increase your effectiveness if you're able to buy a tp stone from the Supplies store instead of the Outpost?

It is a "logical" issue..... The outpost has items that can only be bought at the outpost, which is why you cant buy it at the store and vice versa. If you go to the outpost, open up the outpost tab... its that easy. Working as intended. no fix necessary.

I used to have this issue with picking up homecoming stones, but after one mistake you learn. Is quite annoying though.

I second this opinion. I am a new player (never played DoTA) and was entirely confused by it. Of course once you've got it, it is simple as hell but initially this is not "noob friendly" at all ;).

I support this suggestion.
I understand the argument that one should select the correct buying pane, but sometimes I'll goto recipes to check if the item I'm building needs any of the items available at the outpost or secret shop (sorry I haven't memorized EVERYTHING) If its there, I will then buy it from the recipe tooltip window, and thus it will be thrown in stash. That just seems wrong to me.
