Ok joke, I just wanted to attract your attention :)
But I think it need some balancing, my suggestion: Allow potion using while stunned.
This will not make stunning useless, and you get a chance to survive...

It'd be useless because if you pop a potion they'll just dispel it next time they hit you.

Then remove dispelling of potions.
Or remove potions, cause i dont saw any one buying one above lvl 3 or 4 oO
It uses just space :)

Removing the dispel from potions is too imba, they to +40hp/s iirc. I reckon they're fine as they are, alternatively, you could have them work like Savage 2 potions.

they could restore a percentage of your health per second instead of a static amount, making them more useful later in the game.

1. Change potions to restore health by %.
2. Change potions to not heal during combat, but, still remain "buffed" on the character during combat (and the buff timer not tick until out of combat).

No. This is a horrible idea. Even if this potion costed 1000 gold, it'd STILL Be broke. Do you understand that Behemoth heart restores 1% hp per seconds, which on a hero with 3k hp is 30hp per second? Basically you grab Legionnaire, or a Devourer who has +30 str passively and bloodstone, you give them this potion on anything 3% or higher and they can tank the fountain. Making it uninterruptable just means that he CAN NOT be killed. AOE skills become useless, stuns become useless, and casters are a joke and a half. This isn't Carries of Newerth. Anyone with a sense of balance who has played this game and has even a mediocre level of skill will recognize this as gamebreaking in the worst way possible.
In Dota, they nerfed Bottle from giving 180-200 hp and 100 mana per cast, because it was TOO powerful, and that's interrupt-able. and Even if you did make it "out of combat buff" Or whatever. YOu determine this by a cooldown of not being hit or not taking damagE? Great, so accused becomes a beast. A tank can take 4k damage, run away for x seconds and blink back into battle. IT's like having a rune of regeneration- All. The. Time. Or here's a scenario, potion always stays on, bu tnot during combat? Alright, so their team just got aoe stunned by tempest and your tank went from 10hp to full. Am I getting through yet?

furiouspeon i agree
Iv playd some savage2 and the ppl whining here and coming up with suggestions are the bad once from savage2. They cant deal with the game and therfore want to change it. They did so in sv2 and now they are trying to do the same here, but ill never play the game if its changed like the sv2 noobs want it.

No comment, this will make this thread to a "Savage 2" vs Dota/ HoN players.
But here a crazy idea ( Well this is something which I wanted a looooong time ) Why not start a tournament, where the same players had to play both games? ( HoN and Savage 2) So you need skill in HoN and Savage 2...
Instead of just flaming :)

...Feel like challenging me? Maybe you actually might stop making these suggestions before actually thinking how much they'd break the balance.

You know iron man? Why not create something similar in gaming :)

beta being the keyword. If this wasn't a copy of another game, no one would have much experience.
That said, I think potions seem fine the way they are. Buy the relocation trinket thing and just port back to the fountain if you really want to heal that quickly. (or post haste boots, or both)

I was flaming? I was giving a good argument as to what was wrong with the suggestions and I*thought* I was being nice about it. Apparently not. And this is a thread about balancing DOTA. I'm pretty sure even the best S2 only players would get beat bad by Dota Mediocre's
But that's besides the point. Point is, it's gamebreaking.

I agree, game breaking. I can see that even after only a few weeks playing.
Also, why bring savage 2 up? it's a non issue, had nothing to do with this game. Not only that but your statement was baseless with no factual evidence - how do you know it was savage 2 players who are making these bad suggestions? you don't, you just felt like marginalising a certain group of players; players who aren't you.

I think potions are perfect, if you know how to use them correctly you will get them off in time, if you are getting stunned/ganked often maybe you should learn to buy wards first item, only 200 gold.

Would deffeat the whole purpose of stunning. Its fine the way it is, and it wont be changed.

Haha. I was going to have a coniption when I saw this thread title. Then I saw the suggestion and had a good laugh as FuriousPeon explained perfectly why this suggestion will never see the light of day. This item has been changed so many times over the years that at this point it's at the most balanced it has ever been.
