Since Autobalance is available it does not seem to make sense to shuffle the teams, if the Host wants to Autobalance. I'd like to see an option to autobalance the Teams, when game starts. So people can be sure, that the whole Teams are balanced as good as possible and mates who are hoping to spike a game have to play the game, even if they are not in the same team. This would make the games for randoms better.

In-house scrims.
shuffle teams is still a good option. at least for inhouses because PSR is really not a very good estimate of true skill at this point so a completely random shuffle is best for inhouses.

Where 'better' means teams are more evenly distributed. :/
And yeah, PSR isn't really accurate as of now.
They should make it an option to hide the percentage scores at the top.
I usually play with five of my friends online and it gets annoying when people on the other team complain that they have a 33% chance of winning or something like that.
What's the problem with friends playing together? I play with 2 of my good friends, and yeah, we rarely lose together, but still, you can talk to your team through in game voice too, so vent isn't a big game changer.

People that play together often have better coordination, but that's not the point.

They should be thankful that they'll get moar PSR if they win.

Shuffling was a feature implented in the beta time and this discussion isn't up to date anymore so don't mess with the deads!

yeh shuffle teams would definitely only be for inhouse games, not sure why else anyone would use it (unless playing no-stats)

This is already in the game. There is a game-mode called "Auto Balanced" which does exactly what you suggested, it unlocks all slots (or maybe just prevents locking) and then autobalances just before the game starts.
Apparently nobody knows about it though.
